Apartment hunting continues.

First, the Capital failed options:

- The first one was fully restored, from Windows to paint and literally everything.... But missing the kitchen. The cost of installing a kitchen + furnishing the whole place would be too much in case of problems. I'd mean drawing money from my transition savings...

- The second one.. I discovered it, but when my father saw it, he wanted it. 40.000€ cheaper than the media, everything fixed inside, and in the historical neighbourhood of the city (Casco Viejo). he was insisting, I was being cautious... "You show this to me, but if I like it you don't now?" That one was from my list of interesting things to see. I had to track small bits in the photos until I could track it in Google Earth: The facade was losing parts, and the balconies were falling apart. That place could be demolished any time. that money is far to cheap to live in a area everybody would love to spend a vacation in.

So we are back to the second city. We have two options, each one of us is fighting for one.

- My fathers choice is the "modern". It is a bit small, but the whole kitchen is brand new, and everything has been designed. But it has no lift or whatever.
http://www.inmobroker.es/vivienda/1326/arteagabeitia/piso_en_barakaldo_616577.html

Pros: Brand new and fully equipped kitchen, semi modern bathroom, cork flooring, heating
Cons: Small, only two rooms, tiny living room, The brand new furniture integrates wardrobes and beds, making it impossible to change or customize it. A thrid floor with no lift.

- My choice is the "Grandfather". This place looks like it has been owned by a pair of elderly people. Furniture, rugs... Everything looks like 30 to 50 years. The kitchen is really old, but overall it looks beautiful, with good natural lighting, and THREE ROOMS. I can have a bedroom, a room for renting or visitors, and a work and studying room
http://www.inmobroker.es/vivienda/1326/arteagabeitia/piso_en_barakaldo_616355.html

Pros: Lift, balcony, 7 square meters separate storage, heating, all windows are outdoors, easy to remove furniture, three rooms, lots of light. Even the bathroom has a window! One wardrobe is part of the apartment itself in a wall
Cons: Kitchen will need upgrades, half the furniture may go out, may need to replace the electrical outlets.

So, we agreed on checking them ASAP and separately, and compare out oppinions tomorrow. We still need to find the small bits (overall status of the building, location, what does not show on the photos)... Let's hope everything comes out OK.

Still, living in the old district would be so cool...

Edge

I'm wondering if I should clarify something for some of my friends. I don't really have much to gain from it except... Some of my friends and I don't see eye to eye on certain things. While that's fine with me, I wonder if it's fine with them or if they assume I have the same opinion they do. This is kind of important to me.

Gods I want to live where you live. Not a single McDonalds sign around. Simply gorgeous.

Prague is high on my list of places to waste a few weeks.

Thinking about someone I have never met and possibly will never get to(costs) and understanding how they are feeling and hate not being able to be there to help and only being words on a page. Also finding myself surprisingly caring about them not being happy.

What is this feeling? I do not understand it.

There is a increasing difficulty for finding a McDonalds. At this moment there only a single one in the whole city, ina mall that doesn't get a lot of people. There is more or less one per city, and you don't even see Burger King and Mc Donalds under the same roof.

What still pisses me off is how Pizza Hut disappeared. Last time I had one was in Lisbon. I loved it, but nowadays it's either Telepizza or Domino's for chains. Anyways, if you want to eat real healthy "fast food" here, I know the places.

It is called love, and it is healthy.

I actually did eat at a McDonald's in Prague, when I was 8, but that was mostly so I could try ordering in Czech for fun.

It was the easter suburbs of Prague, if that matters.

It is called love, and it is healthy.

So far all my life I have gone on not knowing what love feels like, despite it being described to me. I will admit I was worried this would be the answer and all I can think right now is I hate this feeling as it hurts.

Why can't I just go back to being emotionally numb? I don't want to hurt again as I was used in my last relationship though it was one I was manipulated into and I was not vested in it myself only in it for the other person, I was blind my friends say and it is with hindsight I see how unsafe and unhealthy it was for me to be in it(gladly it didn't last long) but considering it led me to have such a bad anxiety attack that EMT's(yup) thought I was having a heart attack, I never wanted that again despite not 'being' in the relationship her cheating on me really hurt for some reason.

As I said I most likely will never meet this person in real life, so that means carrying these feelings with me and never able to express them. So yes I was worried that would be the answer and all I can think right now is I hate this feeling as it hurts but I guess that shows it is real based on what friends have told me in the past, also my friend kept rubbing it in months ago I had a crush...but how can I get such feelings for someone I have never met and frankly who can and does do better than me, I also hate that nothing will come of these feelings.

Why can't I go back to being a robot/empty shell?

Because my sister you are not an emotionless robot. You are a woman with feelings and care for others. You have been hurt and you have put up shields.

We hide: it is a honeycomb world that we live in, it is dark and has places we can pretend to be safe. But it is a hidden place that we do not need. We can express love, we can care, we can feel, we are human and we can have love, both receiving and giving.

That is our right.

And I do keep a box of tissues next to my computer, thank goddess, because I cry when I hear the pain we carry.

I'm crying now.

Love you

Cindy

I am sorry I made you cry Cindy. Only semi good thing from all this at the moment is it seems I maybe able to write more songs and poems now something I haven't been able to in years. It seems I can only do it when I am breaking apart with reason and not just randomly.

Love you as well Cindy.

This reminds me of the time I ordered a McDonalds burger in Prague. Like Willow, I was in the suburbs and the guy didn't speak English at all. Ended up with two huge burgers with chips and fizzy drinks, and two HUGE bottles of water, a lot of various dips and a massive bag of fried scampi. Nailed it.

I am an ugly, pathetic, useless idiot. Also despite what some may think I am not saying that for attention or sympathies, that is just simply how I truly feel about myself on an almost daily basis and today is probably the worst in awhile.

Does Reggatón count as R&B?
