I'm thinking about mental illness and it's effects on my life and others'. Both what living with it is like as well as the effects of stigma.

I'm thinking that its nasty out with the sleet and all the ice from the freezing rain, but at least the power came back on. I had the generator going after I cleaned the main jet, but didn't have internet except on my phone, so I whined on facebook with that. Now I can fix a pizza and hope the power stays on so I don't have to go outside again tonight.

i know, and I woke up this morning to snow! never would have believed it!

Sometimes I wonder if my mom truly wants me to leave home.  I'm thinking no.

My brother wants me to come see him today, but the bus ride is so long. -_- 1.5 hours to get there. He's been driving so long I think he forgets what a pain in the butt bus and train travel is.

I don't know if I should extend this geek squad plan to anoter two years (costs around $251) or let it run out and if something breaks, just take it to a local repair shop nearby.  I paid for the 2 year plan when I was 19 and the only time I got some use out of it was to replace my battery.  Well I did that and 2-3 months later, the battery is acting up and I can't keep it charged for any longer than 5 minutes before my laptop will die on me.....and they only replace one battery for free which sucks.  Whenever I get a virus, I just do a destructive recovery and be done.  I'm not a student anymore so I don't have any major stuff I have to save and the stuff I do have, it's also saved to my USB or to another site.

$251 is a lot of money. but then again I'v had this laptop for almost over 2 years now and I'm always on it so there is a very strong possibility that it could just break down within the next 2 years.

Arrrrrrgh decisions decisions.  I'm not sure what to do.   :'(  I only have like the next 2, maybe 3 days to decide....

I'm thinking you should save the money and use it to buy a new and better laptop when your current one goes kaput. They're getting so cheap now, seems like a lot of dough to me.

@Nikko  Even though I'm aware that I will need a new laptop eventually (warranty or not), this is my first baby and she's a discontinued model so it will be hard to let her go.  She even has little square designs on it.  When I first saw her, I knew she was the one for me....

@alabmagirl awww that would have been perfect for me.  I wish I prsonally knew someone around here that could fix mine.

Apartments hunting continues. Apparently the other nice looking flat I needed to check has a wooden structure (pretty high maintenance) and really bad light conditions, meaning it would generate a massive electric bill.

Also, I'm meeting somebody who does not know I'm trans for a drink. And as favce to face meeting before living as flatmates and maybe something more.

BTW, standing in a train station while waiting, I feel an urge of taking the first long distance and go wherever it tales me, like leaving away my past and my life... I'm too tired and I only want a normal life...

Who isn't? I love mine. All my best friends live inside it.

I am thinking that I am probably a bit too tired when I suddenly realise I have a pound of plastic wrapped pork meat on my lap. And I have absolutely no idea how it ended up there.

So this is really great news long-term, really bad news short-term.

I'm writing a chapter for my thesis, that I expected to be only 15 pages. It has five sections.

Writing the first section now....it's not even done and it is currently 10 pages. THE FIRST SECTION. OF FIVE! So the bad news is, I have a LOT of work ahead of me because it seems I am gravely underestimating how many pages I need to do a good job. The great news is, when my balls have been thoroughly busted, my thesis is going to be long and sexy and detailed and I'll look smart. My supervisor said I wasn't being detailed enough, so maybe this is a sign I am on the right track.

Another piece of good news is that I am SUPER into it. I finally found the flow for writing this, so it's long but not tiring. It's nice to enjoy writing again, I have been missing that for so long.

I did not expect so many people at the registry. Good thing I had breakfast and my hormones a before (blood test day), because  I will probably have to stay here for considerable amount of time.

BTW, even though I'm in guy mode, and at this time I'm starting to show a bit of beard shadow in the short distance, my breast are showing up already.  So much for my plan of trying to pass Noah as male and try to pull a standard name change (I was recommended to avoid being identified as trans since they can use it to deny the change until I have the two letters required here for the name + gender legal change).

Something odd last nite. After finishing the make up, my personality changed slightly. I got a little happier... But oddly i also became a bit shy. I didnt know why, but i was. I felt like a different person.
