Watch out for the tax implications! IRS will expect a cut whether you live north or south. NAFTA residency might be a better option if you can swing it.

Ah, thanks for the heads up! It's not a for sure yet, as some parts of the form are a little unclear, but I will keep it in mind.

Why is the Bald Eagle called the Bald Eagle? It obviously isn't bald - Did they misspell it? Too lazy to call it the white feather headed eagle? What's going on with that?

Handy smarts. She might also mean street smarts, though. Less likely, it occurs to me that she might have means EQ (emotional intelligence).

True, I've met plenty of folks with high IQs but little to no common or practical sense

I prefer Gardner's Multiple Intelligences model to traditional IQ. Does a much better job of respecting the diversity of "smarts".

I don't like any other model of intelligence as they all make me less intelligent than IQ on its own. :P
