My father-in-law has insisted he take us out for dinner tonight before he takes off with this strange woman we've never met and marries her.  He's wealthy, she sounds like a gold digger who has already taken a few guys to the cleaners.  My wife is an attorney and he's stupidly doing this without a prenup.  *facepalm*  It's gonna get really ugly.

Anyway, we've gone mostly vegetarian and sober and he eats nothing but meat and drinks copious amounts of wine and scotch.

Sounds like my current diet plan is getting defenestrated tonight. *le sigh*

Guess I'm taking a VERY long hike this afternoon.  Maybe I'll have to walk to the pharmacy to pick up my E...

My father pushed us aside for his arrogant piece of sh** rude vulgar wh*re. My brother refuses to realize that. I think my father may be the gold digger here though. He barely has money and is in debt. Her family, while not really rich, is well off enough to ensure a comfy life. Oh and he REFUSES to pay my mother alimony and has done so for almost two years now.

Going out for Mexican food at Casa Vega in Sherman Oaks.  I think it's got to be the oldest Mexican place in the Valley.

The cheese enchiladas are my junk food this week.  Hey- it's still vegetarian!

Why do I always want to call the place "Casa Verga"?

I love the old Mexican restaurants.  My earliest memories of eating out was at the El Tecolote in Camarillo when we came up to visit the grandparents.  It was originally founded in Moorpark in the late 40s.  Love the chili rellenos and chicken tacos.

When I was a student, El Cholo on Western (1923) was the place to go.

Yesterday was a Freschetta naturally rising crust pepperoni pizza. Mmmm all to myself, no regret, my girlfriend 500 miles away doesn't like cheese anyway. Okay scratch that...I went to the gym and burned a 1004 calories afterward.

Tonight I'm back on Zatarains red beans and rice, with some added spicy polish sausage.

Cleaning the Black Rockfish out my freezer planning another fishing expedition off the Washington coast in late July. So I'm having baked Black Rockfish smothered in tarter sauce (yum!), the lil S.O. Is having a chicken enchilada, she likes catching them but eating fish is another matter for her, something about gag reflex and texture. This fish is almost $7.00 a pound at the store.
