I'm seeing all girl now. The past month has been good to you.
Just trying to find comfort in this "shell" that doesn't fit.  But I am "remodeling" the shell finally!

Natalia, I wrote a long post in an attempt to address your concerns, but don't know where it went.  When I clicked submit it was posted, but now I don't see the post.   :(  Did you also post on another site (one to make sure I'm not thinking of that one)?
10-13 tried mother's finger nail polish, dresses and her heels
23 phase of body building and then suddenly cross dressing and wearing makeup
26 started calling myself Kristy in my voicemail recording
36 saw therapist, went on HRT and partially identified as Kristy
37 moved and started HRT again, dressing a little more feminitely
41 started HRT again, and wife made agreement if I would give up Kristy
45 started HRT again, this time for good, because wife didn't hold up her end of the agreement.  New agreement with 11 year old son and wife is that Kristy be present only at certain times and not around strangers or family, unless they are ready to be a part of Kristy.

Hi Natalia ,

You really should try and relax , it is nothing to worry about , you look great . I mean even in 'boy mode' you show femininity and that means that you are totally passable . Just look at your profile pic , still you with a big smile like you should always have , why would you be worry ? You are beautiful , not only passable . Your hair will grow and soon you will be able to do more hairstyles with it .
I hope at  FFS  too , to make me more feminine and maybe more beautiful , but , we should live as who we really are , not wait for years until coming out in public .
I think at FFS as my 'ace in the sleeve' , whenever I hate what I see in the mirror I think and hope that FFS will change it in better .

So relax , it will be great  , I envy you for going out as a real you , i hope i will do it soon too ;)

Thank you very much Claudia! ^^ Your words were a great boost for me, more than you know!  ;) I grew seeing me as someone ugly and only the thought of being different than that was not even a remote possibility for me. I was never called beautiful for anyone (except my mom lol but this doesn't count)...so I really appreciate you telling me otherwise!

Hey All,

I took some new pictures tonight and I thought I would post how things are progressing in terms of my makeup and my clothes. A couple of questions (and feel free to be honest):

Are the fake breasts I have the right size for me (maybe hard to tell from this angle)? Do I have a feminine body? What if anything should I work on in terms of makeup?

Thanks,
Alyssa

Somebody has it GOING ON!!!!!  Yes, you look feminine!  The one thing that I would do is to grow those nails out.  Your frame is thin, everything about you appears to be slender, which is what guys usually like.  I wish I had your hair, is it real?  It has a sheen to it, just very pretty.  I love your top, I'd be wearing that thing all day if I had it.  Where did you get it?  Keep smiling and post more pics.  The breasts look fine, and I like how they ride low on your chest.  Nothing worse than boobs that get a rash from hairs on the chin.   :D

Natalia, if in public you look anything like your avatar then are going to be some J E A L O U S - W O M E N out there.   And, I'm talking about the kind born with boobs, and no brains.  Seriously, we live in a shallow world, and as the Indians were smart enough to know, the world should be glad that we 'two spirits' exist.  There is just something incredibly beautiful about being 'trans'.  We have the gift of being able to see both sides of  the gender spectrum, and we possess empathy like no other.  Some guy is going to be very lucky to have you in his arms, if not already.

If you choose to go the route of FFS, to put on the finishing touches of your transformation to womanhood, go for a rhinoplasty and brow shave, and that's it.  You will be an excellent candidate for both, if you're dealing with a quality surgeon.  The reason I say that is any work done to correct things is only going to enhance your face as the total package is already there.   As you stay on HRT, and under the guidance of someone who specializes in skin and hair care, your hair should grow thicker and more bountiful.

You also have a big jawline, but you know what?  My oldest sister is tall, athletic, big boned and even though she has that Anthony Robbins (motivational speaker, look him up sometime) facial profile she is really very pretty.  She is the arm candy of a tall, handsome businessman in Atlanta.

Please post more of your pics.  We're rooting for you, Natalia!

Keep growing that hair out.  Are you on HRT and how long have you been on it?  Not implying anything wrong with your face, just curious.

More of the same app. Geek chic:

We need to see more of your face in order to form any opinions other than it appears you are very shy and not confident in your looks.

If it makes you feel any better I posted my pictures and never got a response, but the reality is that I don't have a wig yet (and a lot of hair loss due to MPB) and I don't have any makeup yet, so......nobody is going to comment on someone who isn't on HRT, isnt trying to look like anything other than the gender they appear to be.

If you REALLY want some motivation to show that pretty face, then right now the only thing I'd pass as is a 'man in a wig'.  Come on, open up that hair posing as curtains and ask for input!  Remember, nobody is perfect, and if they were they wouldn't be in here showing their pics.  Very, very few trans women (or trans men for that matter) 100% pass.  Society is just too petty and picky about every little thing, and trying to tear everyone else down, to just let things go.  At least that's the case in most of the USA, especially where I live.

Come on, Geek Chic, peek a boo  ;)

also, I know te wigs a little messed up, it's a tad small and I haven't had it styled or anything yet.
You look great!  :)

Hello ^^

Yes, it is me again! Sorry, I feel I am always coming here to ask for opinions...but I feel so unsecure about my future and this is killing me!  :-\

(I want very sincere opinions. Don't worry about hurting me, because I will not take critics to the personal side)

The thing is: I don't have money for a FFS right now and I don't think I will have for the next few years, so I will have to pass with what I have when the time comes. I am slowly preparing myself, training my voice and so on, and I really would like to try going out as a woman on a few months from now.  ;)

But...here they come ("boy mode", no make-up or anything!):

I know one of my biggest problems is my terrible nose. When I was a kid I fell on the ground and broke it... that's why it is right turned (if I didn't break it, it would still be awful). As I can't afford a rhinoplasty, I really want to know if I can get passable with it the way it is. I don't mean beautiful, just passable...

And my second hugest flaw is my hairline and the way it gives me a huge brow. I can't make my hair look good and it have a will of its own. Besides that my hairline receded a few years back and gave me a typical male pattern hairline. It is slowly returning now that I am on HRT...but the problem is: my hair is getting longer, but the hair on the places I lost hair is still too short and I can't do anything with it. Is there any way I can style it into a more feminine way? Or is a wig my only hope?

And another problem, but not the last one I guess...is my brow bossing. Again, I can't do anything about it...I will have to try passing the way it is...is it too bad?

I felt really good when I added a virtual wig and some make-up (as in my profile pic) and I got a nice result...but I don't know if it is possible for me to achieve something like that in real life. (I don't have a wig, but I am considering buying one)

Do I have any hope of passing?

Thank you everyone!  :-*
The thing that gives you a "male" appearance is your hair. I don't know why but it looks that way. Your profile picture looks very feminine!

Barbie: you have legs to die for, but I'm concerned about the way you're standing in the second picture.  Do you have problems walking? It appears there is too much room in those boots.  Even your first picture shows your ankles bowing out.  Just concerned, that's all.  I imagine you do walk very gracefully, with that red coat appearing to float in mid-air at night.   ;D

Yes. Shoes always make some problem. Mostly women's shoes tend to too small and tight, but sometimes they are a little bit bigger and roomy. My feet are virtually tortured by those shoes, especially when I carry a big bag.

Fortunately, the boots you mentioned are roomy, but very comfortable, and I can run on them. The heel height is ca. 3 inch or 8 cm. I stayed 3 days in Seoul for some meetings while wearing those boots, and I walked a lot in the street. My feet are now fine.

Thanks for your keen observation!

Yes. Nowadays I think I can pass easily.

Last Friday I went to Seoul for a symposium and I was a kind of invited speaker. I changed name cards with other speakers and hosting persons. They could clearly read my manly name and hear my low voice. But a few of them still asked whether I am a man or a woman. I replied that I do not answer to those private questions. One of my colleagues jokingly suggested that I have better mark 'male' or 'female' in my name cards.

During the symposium, I shared the women's restroom with other ladies there, and they did not seem to be surprised by my existence. Sometimes I fixed my makeup there, too.

Thank you very much Thevaliantx! ^^ I really plan to have FFS on the future and it is certain that I am going to need a traqueal shave too. My jawline doesn't bother me too much, at least not as my nose or my hair (oh my hair!). I would be a very happy girl if I can resemble my profile pic on the future, but the reality is that what I really want is just to pass as a woman and, if possible, to be able to live in stealth... and for now I can only count with HRT and the hope of recovering my hair. I am sure HRT will soften my features even more, but I am afraid of not passing with my nose, forehead and brow bossing... perhaps it is just a silly fear.

I think HRT together with a good diet (I lost 15-16kg) already helped me a lot. I mean, I looked terrible prior to HRT and I never expected to achieve what I have now. I know I still have a lot to go, but I really feel my face changed a lot in 5 months...here's an example:

Around 1 year before HRT (June 2012) and after 5 months of HRT

thank you 930310!  :D My goal is to look like my profile pic someday, but that will take a while because indeed my hair is not helping at all! I am quite sure what gives me up is mainly my hairline, that receded on a male pattern. It was a lot worse before HRT.  A LOT. I really hope I can grow my frontal hair soon and cover the spots with less hair! And I hope that HRT + finasteride + minoxidil keep doing their job holding my hair on my head!

If there is one more thing to point out it is that your eyebrows are looking a bit too long. They seem to go in a very wide arch above your eyes.

Seriously that has got to be one of the most dramatic transformations I have seen with HRT.  Was the clinic doing a "but 1 get 1 free" E special?  That girl would probably have a hot flash in the middle of Antartica.

Digressing, but i thought hot flashes was from a lack of E? I'm not trying to be a smart ass, but i've been having some flashes recently and yet i am on quite a high dose of E and P.
