I haven't slept in 32 hours and still can't because I'm so happy. After working overnight, I had my first appointment with my new endocrinologist and was afraid that I would have to start all over.

I was presenting as female, and apparently I passed. When I asked if I should put my own information or my spouse's for the insurance, they said to "put down your husband". When I gave them my ID I had to explain that I was in fact me! :o

But the best thing was my doctor. She was very nice and immediately wrote up my prescription for Estradiol... and really raised my spriro dose. I took my first dose at noon and still am full of relief for today. My journey had already started, but now it's finally in gear!

All this joy and only a $30 copay and $5 prescription cost! I'm sitting on top of the world today!

There is no, 'One True Way'.
Pain shared is pain halved, Joy shared is joy doubled

Why do people say "grow some balls"? Balls are weak and sensitive. If you wanna be tough, grow a vagina. Those things can take a pounding.

Funny thing is this keeps on happening to me! When I say, "umm,  I have a wife..." they are usually, :o "oh wow! Where did you all go to  get married?" :D

Apparently I pass or being a lesbian excuses any 'masculine' traits. ???
