Stopping smoking & this time for good. I've had enough & it is time to 100% quit & never inhale nasty smoke into my lungs again. Eating away on baby carrots, working in my garden some, beautiful day for exercise & to be outside.
mtF, mid 50's, always a girl since childhood, HRT (Spiro, E & Fin.) since 8-13. Hormone levels are t at 12 & estrogen at 186. Face lift & eye lid surgery in 2014. Abdominoplasty/tummy tuck & some facial surgery May, 2015. Life is good for me. Love long nails & handsome men! Hopeful for my GRS & a nice normal depth vagina maybe by late summer. 5' 8", 180 pounds, 14 dress size, size 9.5 shoes. I'm kind of an elegant woman & like everything pink, nice & neet. Love my nails & classic Revlon Red. Moving back to Florida, so excited but so much work moving

Ah. That sounds like a really bad idea. I agree with you on that being harmful for the trans community.
Sometimes, I feel like the only person who actually cares about science.

Well, people think when you say GD is a medical condition, it means you're saying it's a "mental disorder." =/ I think a big part of the problem is that disease is very moralized, so calling something "medical" makes it a dirty word. It's a very uncritical response. Plus, these same people want medical insurance to cover hormones, and surgery, for what they say is not a medical condition? Doesn't work that way. lol.

In other news, I've decided to give myself a birthday present. There's a Metallica shirt I've wanted for months, and I'm going for it. But they only have Large...I may be Extra Large... -_- I'll have to check against their sizing chart. If I can't get the one I want, I'll get a Master of Puppets in XL.

...and the Metallica website doesn't work. After I inputted everything, it won't process the order. Haha. -_- Oh well.

UGH, so not in the mood for the leftovers tonight nor the quiet night at home.  What was I thinking?

I wonder if my wife would prefer to have "date night" instead and see a movie.  I think I've been stuck in the house too long.

My son is currently obsessed with (American) football. At eight, I think he's going to soon surpass me in knowledge of the sport.

Society's stigmatization of all things medical as "problems" is the root of the problem here. I resolve the tension by acknowledging that we have a medical condition, while categorizing that condition as medical diversity rather than a medical problem.

-_- There's no room in the recycling for my stuff this week, meaning my room is full of crap. I wouldn't mind, except for my family putting tons of crap in the bin that CANNOT be recycled and is straight up trash. Part of me wants to say "f it" and just throw my recycling in the garbage can which still has space, but that seems so wasteful...

It could be something much worse like this....

Blinded by the light,
Wrapped up like a noose another rumor in the night

Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night

Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night

Madman drummers bummers,
Indians in the summer with a teenage diplomat
In the dumps with the mumps as the adolescent pumps his way into his hat
With a boulder on my shoulder,
feelin' kinda older,
I tripped the merry-go-round

With this very unpleasin',
sneezin' and wheezin,
the calliope crashed to the ground
The calliope crashed to the ground

But she was...
Blinded by the light,
revved up like a deuce,
another runner in the night

Paying $195 for this laptop speakdesk tommorrow.  I hate that Best Buy discontinued it, so it's overpriced but the speakers are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO worth it.  I wish I had gotten the deal when it was $145 a few days ago with another seller before someone else got it, but I was banking on bidding for another one for cheaper.  Too bad I feel asleep and missed that bid so now I have to pay for it, both metaphorically financially.  I guess compared to the prices on Amazon and even some of the prices on Ebay, $195 isn't too bad.  It's still a bit pricey though.  Hopefully, I can sell the damaged one I have to at least get some of the money back from the other purchase.
