I wouldn't mind getting a cheap electric lap steel guitar for Noise stuff.

I had a friend in college who did exactly that.  He also got a really craptastic bass with unpotted microphonic pickups and yelled into them.  Of course nobody I knew wanted to listen to it.

If I want to make trippy noises, I have a vintage Korg Poly 61 analog synth.  It's great for UFO noises and the like.

One of my cousins had an old lap steel (he probably sold it for crack later on. I had to throw him out twice over that crap. He never was stupid enough to steal from me, though. He knew I was too crazy to attempt anything stupid with me.) Anyways...I would use the lap steel for really harsh slide guitar noise and I would record that on my (now long gone) cassette 4 track. I would then layer distorted screaming and feedback over the top of that. It was a lot of fun. But eventually, I sold all of the equipment off once I got burnt out on it. Plus, it took up way too much room. I have a keyboard that I can't really play but I've used it for Harsh Noise, Ambient and this really whacked out Grind/Noise stuff where I basically just beat the thing to death on the "Grand Piano" setting while screaming and growling my lungs out over the top of it.  I leave the music to the musicians.  :D

i once used a cassette recorder connected to an echo-device with a nice delay on it and turned on the monitor function and let it feedback to get some trippy noises out of it and recorded that on tape and digitized it or just captured the raw signal digitally. During the time where i frequently did this my best friend always yelled at me to "cut that out! it's hurting my ears!". It didn't hurt mine, but we all hear things differently. I also liked doing sound collages. I did some really stupid ones. One of my favorite effects is the backwards echo and of course the step-filter. I also played an ipad-keyboard (through GarageBand), through my effects unit fed through my amp. I got some trippy sounds out of it, which was good as i was listening to some Manfred Mann and i wanted to emulate that sound at least a bit.

I just want my period to hurry up and come so I don't have to worry about it for another 28 days.

I'm realizing that I have 5 days until I can start HRT and everything is going smoothly and I have nothing to worry over or feel anxious about... And THAT makes me worry.

Wish I could invite myself to things, it's really annoying. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of or ignored.

Mobile home parks laws are ridiculous. You have less rights in a mobile home park than you do if you so to a hotel. I should be able to protect my property from the landlord as much as he wants to protect his from frozen water pipes.

I told my mother that I'm sad and depressed because of the job market and economy and how I'm putting in for many places, but with no luck.  She told me not to worry about it because she isn't going to kick me out and that "mommy loves you", but if she really knew why I want a job (to get top surgery and eventually start my transition), I wonder if she would still be saying that.  I don't know....probably not.

The more I think of it, the more I realize that I have spent most of my life trying (and failing) to be normal. I did instinctively without really consciously being aware that I was doing it, but there are so many things where I think "why did I do that?" and the automatic answer that comes to me is "because I thought I was supposed to."

Goofy thoughts that won't make sense to anyone else.

I apologize in advance for this being all feely. For some reason, today, I feel more lo- er, fondness than normal. I can't figure out why. It's not like I've seen him around, spent ay time with him, or had any good conversations aside from a bit of small talk recently.

Oh, I'm doing that unhelpful thing where I keep on imagining a better life and end up doing nothing to actually get it.

Well imagining is the first part, you just need to move from there to the planning phase.

Aww, that is really very sweet of her though.

I wish I was more organized.  I have this huge stack of papers that belong in my flie cabinet and I need to find my legal documents in it.  I guess I have to do some filing.

I really wish I had a beer to drink right now.  And a slice of pizza.

I share these same wishes for myself. Pizza would be amazing right now.

My papers are all in a box lol completely scattered. I threw a ton away the other day, but I still have some I could get rid of.

Yeah she can be a sweetheart when she wants to I suppose.  I know she would want me to get a job (or school actually), but I guess she doesn't want to see me sad on this.
