I took a few yesterday. Do I pass? Blunt honesty would be appreciated. In the third one my face isn't clear but I just wanted to get a shot of my body (and unfortunately I can only take full body shots on my webcam).

Don't want to sound like I'm complaining excessively, but is there a reason I got skipped? Did I post incorrectly or is there a certain format that I'm supposed to be following? This is my first time posting in the new thread, so if there's something I messed up, please tell me so I can fix it.

I'm late on this thread but feel compelled to say that you actually have a naturally very pretty, feminine face in my book. Probably you will want to address the high nose bridge at some point in the future but you do really look good from the start.

You look female to me Haley. The one in the heather grey tshirt is probably the most masculine but then again I have seen regular cis girls without their makeup in the morning and things are often equally not fem.

I would say, in my honest opinion, in the first two photos you're not passing, but then that looks like a very unflattering camera angle.

Then for the the 3rd..it's a little blurry, but you look like you could with hormones...are you on yet?

Then the last, it's a bit difficult to see, but I don't know if I see major problems..but then I'm not an expert at this.

Oh ok, thanks for the honesty. For the first two pics, I've been told it's my forehead. I guess my hairline is a little masculine. And yea, that shot makes my brow bone show a lot. So I guess maybe that has something to do with it? My chin also looks really small in that shot so I feel like that might be it too. Maybe makeup will help.

Thank you. That is what I am going for in the gray shirt. In that one I am at work. I'm still not out there so I try to look more masculine. And yes I know you told me Shan. Thank you both for letting me know.

Based on your smartphone photos, it is difficult to evaluate, as some photos are too dark. And self-taken photos tend to exaggerate the size of nose. Your hair is still short. The most important factor in passing as a woman is your hair style.

Passing is not just about your face. It is about overall appearance, fashion, body gesture and voice.

BTW, in everyday life, I mostly do not pass.

You didn't mess anything up. In fact you are looking good. I'm right there with you in a very awkward stage of this. Yes you look fem but to ourselves and some others there is just that something off...

A lot of has to do with style and progression of physical changes. Getting that balance of style, behavior, and female physical traits to pass. It can be an ordeal but from what I have seen in others just hang in there.

So I have been experimenting with my make up recently.

I think I can pass okay, but I am not for sure on it. It may be my voice that gives it away.

I would say you could pass, but until you sort out your look it's not easy to say for sure. You have a potentially strong female face but something seems to be missing. Maybe a touch of makeup? The body shot looks more convincing but perhaps still needs some styling, etc. It's easier to see the band in your hair in the second shot and that certainly helps. A different posture and a touch of tasteful bling and you're well on your way.
