There may be some physiological basis to going all limp-wristed. Bear with me...
I've noticed that since starting HRT and losing muscle, many upper-body movements have become more tiring. I imagine that my muscle and strength loss is not limited to my shoulders; my forearms have probably lost some too. Therefore, even things as simple as the way I typically move my hands is becoming more tiring.
The "rest" position for the hands is palm down, fingers down (the "limp-wristed" position). And since I'm more tired in the forearms, surely it follows that my hands go into the rest position more often?
(And to push this weak theory one step further, note that we MtF girls, we're cursed with heavy man-sized hands. Man-sized hands plus weak womanly forearms will naturally lead to lots more limp-wristed downtime, right?)
Thoughts?
