Better angle??   ???

If you don't just have your hair pulled behind your ears (I do that sometime to get mine out of the way of things), might I suggest growing out the sides of your hair more, and grow out your bangs a little past your eyes. Afterward you can go to a salon and get a more feminine hairstyle feathered to shape your face. This will hide your jawline a bit until hrt has a chance to remodel your face in a more feminine manner. Of course a lot depends on genetics, but hrt will most likely narrow your jawline and chin while filling in your cheeks. I think after about 6 months on hrt with the right hairstyle, you'll pass easily. You look young and that's a big plus for your skin which yours should soften nicely.

A more straight on photo in where your looking straight at the camera (but not standing too close to it) would help a little more. Your just getting started Anna, enjoy the ride -Oh and, please don't eat me -I'm old and I would be tough and stringy, lol!!

Best Wishes. :icon_bunch:

Hi Ally, thank you for the tips!  That is actuallyma wig I'm wearing as my real hair is horrible.  I'm really hoping Finasteride works well for me.  Thank you for the compliments as well and saying I look young.  I'm actually nearing 30!  Still youngnI suppose.  And don't worry,  I won't eat you  ;D

I would say your top image is pretty furry, hair removal might be hell. But that yellow shirt is hella adorbs ;) hehe but really, you look like you have an awesome starting point!! Already very fem and resemble a few girls I know IRL.

I'm intersexed, and had a feminine hair loss pattern before starting my hrt. I was given Avodart (Dutasteride). My hair loss stopped abruptly on the 3rd day and began reversing. It's veeeery expensive though compared to Finasteride, but if you have insurance or can afford it, it wouldn't hurt asking your Endo about. That is, unless your problem isn't that bad. You may do well with Finasteride though.

Oh and, nice to know that was a wig, lol!

Best wishes! :icon_bunch:

Wow, we're on version 3.0 now!

Okay. I don't know how I feel about this but here goes. I should mention I am wearing some makeup but my makeup skills are severely lacking. I'm not sure about this hairstyle either. As you can see in my signature that's how far I am along on HRT.

You look ver feminine the only thing that could give you away is the adam's apple, if I was you I would wear something to cover... But yeah its summer so I dont know! Besides that you totally pass even with short hair which is very rare for transexuals

Ok Tabby's Turn

I think you are at a great start considering you're probably pre-hrt. Look into 5 o clock shadow coverage methods, it will help you a lot! Hormones will hopefully do a lot of good for you, keeping my fingers crossed!

Lol, I am 5 months in

That means you're very early on in your transition :) I can tell from my experience that you should observe more and more changes during the course of next year up till three years :) Good luck!

Adams Apple?? I can't really see it. And by the way everyone has one (myself included). Unless it's really big it shouldn't be a passing problem. Don't listen to those religious fanatics who claim ridiculous things like women don't have adams apples, 1 rib more than men or always have XX chromosomes and can bear children.

Well, I don't think my Addam's apple is huge, it is quite pointy though and I did get clocked.

Women may have Addam's apple as well, but it's a lot, lot less prominent, never heard a woman would be called a transsexual because of her tracheal cartilage. Women's larynxes are just built differently

I'm not saying that because I want to bring anyone down, from what I can see lightvi, your addam's apple is nearly non existent, but because it's better to address some issues before going full time
