Okay at work I've been called a girl more and more public I'm still getting called a guy more often :(. Any help and thoughts would be gratefull
You look kind of Andro or in the in between stages. You might try a more feminine hairstyle with bangs that frames your face better. Also a different top like a tank or something more feminine. Jeans and T shirt are what most guys wear. A little eyebrow shaping may help also. Your almost there. How long have you been on hrt?

Best wishes!

Thank you. Hormones since Febuary so four, five months. Hacked my fringe off as a child in a moment of madness and it still has not completley forgiven me. It is just starting to come past my glasses now finally, would probably want a bit more length there before I'm comfortable playing with it

I personally think you look female and would gender you as such if I saw you irl. But there's two things that stand out to me: you seem to be carrying yourself much like a guy still. I think that's what's mostly contributing to the androgynous look. Just loosening up and maybe picking up some more feminine gestures and mannerisms would contribute to your overall presentation.

The other thing is the bewbs. They're probably still growing, but In situations where passing is important, you could wear a padded bra. It think that will also make a big difference :)

I would just work on mannerism, the poses of you pictures might add more masculinity and wear more feminine clothes (not just skirts and dresses, even more feminine tops)... Besides this you look beautiful and pass as a woman

Wow Emily! You look like you could be Lea Michele Sarfati's younger sister.

People should always be careful when posting images of themselves anywhere on the internet. This site has many genuine people who visit, but there are no doubt those who are here with ulterior motives. There is always a chance someone you would rather not see your photos might see them here (or copied and distributed elsewhere). People should try to ensure that they don't give away identifying information and location with their pics. Many of us look quite different when presenting in our identified gender so to some degree being identified is slightly less of a risk. Regardless, if anyone has doubts about who may ultimately see any pics they post here then they should take extra measures to protect their identity or not post at all. Hope that helps.

That is why I never show my face, to many customers all over the country ;)

Ladies, my nerves are bad... I'm not usually posting; I usually like to comment and read everyone else's post.  But, I thought I'd give it a go.  Honest feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Still pre-everything, looking for some honest feedback :(

I'll echo what some others have said.  You've got a great head of hair...now it's time to use it to your advantage.  I heard someone here say once that 60% of passing is hair, and I think they were right.

Step one is to get a feminine haircut, then learn to style it.  Go to a professional and explain your situation...they'll most likely be really helpful.  And the next step is makeup.  Girls your age shouldn't overdo it, but it's still really important.  There's a reason GG's don't leave the house without their makeup and hair done.  It's the same for you.

Hi I agree with what Katie said. Fine a nice women's hair dresser and  get it cut in as feminine style as possible. Other things you should do is  get an eyebrow wax and get the beautician to give you a nice feminine curve. Also a Eyelash Tint (Blue Black is best) will give your eyes more definition.
A little makeup will be good. Girls your age are well into make up. Also don't frown so much , when you smile you look very feminine, not so when you scowl. Also  look at the way young girls hold their hands . Some of the pictures highlight the masculine features

I'm telling you, bangs will work wonders!  I see a very feminine face with a fairly androgynous hair style.  And your hair is long it really stands out.  Just give it a try, play around with your hair and try to get some bangs going.  Wear a headband if you must.  Some eyeliner and a big smile and take a pic.  Post a picture if you decide to give it a try.  You look great already, just a few minor things I feel could be adjusted.  And yes, I know that's Rougue!

Also your stance and posture on the right picture are somewhat masculine.  Bring your shoulders down and back a little bit and maybe pop your hip to side a little bit.  Dont overdo it, just feel natural with it.  Hope this advice has proven useful!

I think I am going to start looking for a better wig that is closer to my natural hair color.  My voice is sounding much more natural these days and I feel that I will be completely comfortable with everything after I don't have such a visible beard shadow (still pre-everything, but starting HRT and LHR in the next couple of weeks)

Do I look female?  I still see a guy when I look at myself in pictures even though I think it's definitely improved over the year!

Edit: I really need to go clean my mirror... lol

Seems you have a pretty good starting point!  Your body shape and posture are really feminine.  Its always hard to gauge the face, but I have a feeling hormones will work really well with you.

I hope you are right!  I'm eager to feel confident enough to go out of the house... I'm getting close, but think it's going to take a couple of laser hair treatments before I get there.

I had no idea, I was under the impression that you had been on HRT for some time already. Either my vision is suffering or you already look pretty good in which case HRT will turn you into a total stunner.
