Hi Nati

Funny how I wouldn't pass as well as you do now at this moment but I was never told I wouldnt look as a women, maybe because Ive always looked andro

You're making a big step in the right direction, you look like a woman from what I can see

How do you feel about it, happier?

Edit: Yes some TS in support groups are pretty vile/envious. I try to give feedback occasionally if I think someone wouldnt pass without being a bitch about it

Yes, i'm happier a lot happier i feel like i'm in right place , but i also know people are cruel :/

That i was looking like 12 years ago, i'm pretty big i needed that at that time to protect myself against cruel people.

Nati, you look very feminine.  I also wouldn't worry about the arms.

I've got bullied and physicially harassed for looking/acting gay and feminine quite a bit  so I know the cruel part

Happy you're feeling happier, you'll probably get less cruel reactions (if they happen) if you continue the way you're going now

Hello everyone,
sorry for my english.
I'm wondering if i could pass as female in everyday life, i'm now 8th month on HRT and i'm still afraid to go out.
First photo was taken 1,5month on HRT, second one about 5th month on HRT, i know i'm pretty big and i got muscles but i have pretty hard time to loose my weight even with diet and excercises.
And yes i'm wearing a wig on my big head.

I don't think you have any issues passing and that dimple is adorable!  ;D

I got pretty big man-ish arms only loong sleeves for me and i'm still pretty muscular and still when i'm looking in a mirrior i see a man, maybe it's in my head.
I'm 36 now i would go trought transition when iw as 28 but i was told i will NEVER look as female and i could never pass, and that was in TS support group in my country.
I think you need another support group. I have to go along with Ms. Grace on this one. You shouldn't have any trouble passing. Yea, I think they're jealous too. You have great skin, pretty eyes, and a nice round face. Total male fail!!

Oh my gosh you are pretty! Don't worry about muscular arms, over time on female HRT the muscles will atrophy as long as you refrain from lifting weights and do only cardio if you work out, the arms will lean out considerably in time.

Nati...holy crap! Forget the arms...you're beautiful. I'm the same age as you and I really hope HRT is as kind to me as it has been to you.

On an unrelated note, I've noticed that wearing feminine glasses helps in the overall presentation.  I have good eyesight, but wearing frames does make me look more feminine.  What do you all think?

That's a pretty incredible before and after Nati! You look absolutely stunning now.

And ouch! I don't envy getting all that chest hair removed...

New pic today after my blood test! Still pre hormones at 50! Trying to look pretty for summer. No glasses but I'm now blind as a bat! Need them! Nice to be girly despite my  age :-)

Wow Liz, you are looking pretty fab at fifty--and pre-hormones too! Simply incredible. I really like how demure and feminine you look in that picture. I definitely see a beautiful woman there.

Here I am after my drastic weight loss. What do people think?

You look fantastic Wynternight, all girl from what I see. And congrats on loosing the weight! It certainly can be a difficult thing to do. It's amazing what one can aspire towards and achieve with the right motivations. And I can't think of a better motivation than to want a life that reflects one's true self.

this time a picture of me in girlmode rather than andro clothes :D

I know my hair is a mess and I really need to start practicing makeup

Pretty cute Laurelin! I like that dress. It suits you well. What's the up close of the pattern look like?

Don't fret too much about hair and makeup. You still look good. And those skills will get better in time as you practice, experiment, and study techniques.

Today, after more than one year and a half away from scissors...I paid a visit to the hair stylist and...finally I can stop wearing wigs!!!

I know I was a bit away from the forum, but I'd appreciate a few (sincere) comments =)

Do I look or could I pass as female? Did I reach the male phail phase at last or not yet? =P (sorry for the poor lightning). From today on this will be my everyday look, should I expect to get a few strange looks on the street?

Umm.. yeah. You are definitely past male fail Natalia. And I must say, I really dig the new hair style on you. No offense, but it looks a lot better than some of the wigs you were using. You really look great!

And grats on going FT, you probably posted elsewhere and I missed it. But that is awesome and must be incredible to go out as yourself every day. Good for you!

Welcome to the site Paisley :)

We're both on HRT for 3 months and it's a pitty you dont get the results you hoped for yet, maybe your dosage needs changing*fingers crossed*

I'm not sure what advice would fit you but I can just throw a few ideas up:

Haircut? Ask your hairdresser for a more feminine cut, bring an example. I use a wig atm but that's not something I would recommend if you can use your own hair
Makeup? Well a foundation and some concealer doesnt necesarrily have to break your boy mode but it can enhance your face looking smoother and more femme. Add some mascara and light lipgloss/stick if that doesnt make you feel uncomfy.
Clothing: Trendy unisex clothing can is pretty comforming, definately better than clear cut male clothing. I dont know if you are restricted to that however
Jewelry: A necklace, bracelet...this is one of the easier things since there's so much variation. My favourite part

I have a picture of myself on page 41. This is probably a little too much for everyday use but it's an example of how I am slowly growing to a more feminine look.

I'm sure the experts here can help you even more ;)

Thanks Alaia! =D

I am not yet FT, but I don't wear masculine clothing anymore...just unissex and some feminine pieces (usually baby dolls, feminine jeans and unissex or feminine tennis)...I am not wearing exclusively feminine clothes yet....but having a much more feminine hairstyle now, I believe it will be harder to conceal that I am not a man... before, with balding areas really evident, it was impossible to tell that I was not a man...now I think people will become more confused about my gender...

Friday I was walking on the streets at night with my everyday look. Most poeple walked and didn't give me any attention or strange looks...but then a couple passed by and the guy commented "wow, there are transvetites here"...

This comment brought me a few strange feelings. I don't know if I feel happy because it was the first time I was not being misgendered as a man, or if I feel sad because people could clock me as a trans...

But at the same time I am seriously considering really starting going FT and see what happens....
