lleret, you look absolutely gorgeous! Seriously. And if you feel uncertain about your features, I have to emphasise what the other girls have said already: maybe you're just seeing your old face because pre-transition because you'd seen it for so long, when, in reality, to people seeing you at a glance on this forum, you're not simply a cis-girl but a stunning one, at that.

I know what it's like to feel that your face looks masculine. I see it in my own face all the time, even when I *know* that I do not look the way I think I do. I wonder about how I look from this angle, that angle; I wonder if I am deceiving myself that I have ever had a chance of passing. It's a hold-over from our early days of dysphoria that may take a while to get rid of. And some of our old features will remain with us unless we opt for extreme plastic surgery. But these features aren't necessarily that masculine, and many gorgeous cis-women have features that look just like the ones we may be stressing over.

And the only features I'm seeing in your photo are those of a beautiful woman. Be confident--you're beyond a multi-pass at this point!  :)
"The time will come / when, with elation / you will greet yourself arriving / at your own door, in your own mirror / and each will smile at the other's welcome, / and say, sit here. Eat. / You will love again the stranger who was your self./ Give wine. Give bread. Give back your heart / to itself, to the stranger who has loved you / all your life, whom you ignored" - Walcott, "Love after Love"

One image is a bit blurry..., but I decided to try to do makeup for my first time, but had limited stuff. I could probably trim my fuzzy brows but im pre HRT, you think with some hrt i could pass?

Listen to your gut.

I've always wore a mask, so long i couldn't take it off. When i looked within i felt something loaded with emotions , lots of joy and love, and a strong feeling of euphoria. When i recreate that feeling I begin to feel more like myself and i can feel me emotionally, and mentally changing by letting it free.

Well, I'm new here and this is my very first post :-)
That's the way I look:
I don't think I pass, but because I don't look too intimidating people tend to treat me as female even tough they see that I'm not.
Of course I would prefer to pass, but having the respect of others is already something. I've been transitioning for one year, and have been taking Estrogen ( I don't take T-blockers) for 5 months now. At the beginning people would laugh about me on the streets so the simple fact that I don't shock them already makes me happy! I'll be having FFS end of November so it is probably going to get muuuuch better! At least I'm hoping so.

You must be very young, and you look female already, also there is no such thing as a little hrt lol, once you start its a life long thing. But you look great and yeah even right now more than passable. I think if its the right path for you you would do great!
I feel like a butterfly emerging from her cacoon, I'm finally starting to live.

I'm 21 now, so i would still consider that young, and thanks! That made me feel really great  :)

You have a good foundation there for any HRT to do its work with. At 21 you are still quite young and also stand a good chance for feminising effects from HRT too.

I personally wouldn't recommend trimming the eyebrows but would suggest instead at least tidy them up with a pair of tweezers, preferably done by professional at a brow bar if you aren't sure how to do it. Depending how far you want to go could tell them you just want them tidied up around the edges or done in a more feminine style. If once you've been professionally tweezed, then you you just have to pluck the stray hairs away to maintain the new brow shape.
Nobody's perfect ...   I'll never try,
But I promise I'm worth it, if you just open up your eyes,
I don't need a second chance, I need a friend,
Someone who's gonna stand by me right there till the end,
If you want the best of my heart, you've just gotta see the good in me.

Thank you! The E is helping a lot with my skin. But I had a nose job which helped me look more feminine and I've had around 15 laser hair removal sessions. One thing that reeaaaaly helps feminizing my face is the eyelashes. I get eyelash extensions twice a month and I find it very helpfull.

You look great, if you took t blockers I'm shure it be even better it looks like your doing good with e, wow.
Can I ask how old you are? I'm 30 and I'm curious bc I haven't started it yet, also why don't you take to blockers if I may ask?

Thanks Cristy.
I'm 28. I don't take T blockers because I can't stand the idea of loosing my sex drive. Sex is really healthy and I want to be able to enjoy it without frustration. The estrogen alone already brought it down a bit so I won't even get close to T-blockers. Besides, even tough I identify as female, I have no problems with my male genitalia.

Hey Amber! Thanks for the compliment :-) If you're concerned about t blockers I would also wait and try it with E first. But it really depends on what your Goal is. If you want to have SRS you should definitely take t blockers, but that's not my case. I feel just fine being a girl who has a male genitalia. But like I posted before, other things have helped me a lot on looking a bit more passable. I have a nose job, got rid of 90% of my facial hair and can't live without my eyelash extensios :-)
Good luck with your transition. From what I see on your Avatar pic you're gonna turn out a graceful girl!
  •

amber roskamp

yea im still unsure if I want srs or not at this point. it is more of a probably not gonna get srs. I think I can be a women despite the fact that I have male genitalia, but if once my body becomes more female and I become more bothered by it. then I will get srs. I definitely plan laser hair removal, doing some eyebrow maintenance, and ffs and/or a trachea shave. here is a better pick of me.

also I know I don't quite pass yet but I feel like hrt help out a lot.

You have nice hair and your skin seems to be pretty good as well ( I assume you're not wearing makeup). Your lips have a perfect shape. In my opinion your nose is the most masculine feature on your face. I placed my finger on your nose in the picture and sudennly it looked like a girl's picture :-)
  •

amber roskamp

thanks. but I am wearing a tad bit of makeup.

I live in Michigan in the U.S. and they require you to get some kind of feminization surgery in order for you to get your sex changed legally. they actually meant to make it that you had to have srs, but it wasn't worded right and it turns out that a trachea shave or ffs also work. do any know if ffs would include a nose job?
