Really way too early for me.. But I'll be watching.

Can't think of too many things other than Who that Rage gets disrupted for.

I enjoyed it and I hope you all do to, that is all I will say.

Yes and no.

Overall it was a good intro and I think I will like Capaldi as the Doctor. The writing was all over the place though... shifting from comedy to creepy to super creepy to action to "lesbian kiss" to WTF without much rhyme or reason. By themselves they were good scenes but as a whole I kind of felt jerked all over the place. And hasn't Clara (or the splintered time fragments of Clara) had interaction with all the Doctors? I found her fretting over his appearance and not understanding him to be the same person to be odd.

I'll need to watch it again, there was a lot I enjoyed but the bits that jolted me out of the story didn't work for me so much.

New personality, new face, new Doctor. Same old Moffat.

I downloaded it earlier today, and now I'm about to watch it. I love Peter Capaldi's work, so having him as The Doctor makes me squeal (on the inside, since that might attract some attention)! I miss Amy and Rory a lot, but Clara's quick wit is just what this new Doctor needs. I think she's leaving the show, though. So many companions leaving too quickly. Romana was around for a long time, and so was Ace. Anyway, since Capaldi has been a huge fan since he was a kid I'm pretty sure he's going to bring a lot of old personality back to the role, and that's a huge plus for me. Off I go!

I have a feeling is was jerky as a subtle way of putting us in the doctor's shoes, since his mind was all over the place so were we. As for Fragment Clara, I think she hadn't seen this doctor yet as it hadn't happened since she had only gone into his past. Also I feel it is one thing to know about regeneration and another to actually witness it. I do look forward to the rest of the series though.

i really enjoyed the scene where Jenny thinks Vastra is painting her.

:D

I particularly liked the scene when Clara and the Doctor first meet up in the restaurant. Sold me on Capaldi.

And I had to laugh when poor Clara got whacked in the face with the newspaper. ;D

It looks as though the Scottish jokes will replace the Welsh ones of a few series back. And Clara was sounding a bit more Northern too...whatever next!  ;)

It took me a little while to warm up to Capaldi, but after the restaurant scene, I really started to like him. The only thing I didn't like was the new intro music, it was trying to go to far back in the early '80s in my opinion. However I loved the new T.A.R.D.I.S on the inside :)

I'm neither here nor there about the music, by I like the steampunk cinematics in the new opening.

No decision yet about Capaldi, I NEVER like the new Doctor in the regeneration episode. Never had a Doctor who turned me off completely.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

I have to admit: I really, really like Capaldi as the new Doctor. He really harkens back to some of the better Classic Who (specifically Pertwee and Baker). But I still hate Moffat's writing style with every fibre of my being. That being said, I'm just going to leave this here:

So... the garden at the end of "Deep Breath" was obviously the same garden from the Two Streams facility where Amy was trapped. Is this a big oops or intentional? Hmmm... And could Missy be The Rani, or maybe a female regeneration of The Master (Missy>Mistress), or did Mary Poppins (clearly a Time Lord) go mad?

more than likely it's just the same location reused rather than the Two Streams facility. Happens all the time in Doctor Who.

After more than 50 years there can't be a lot of unused venues left.
