Hey Girls I will finally do it.

Next Week on Tuesday I will tell my doc that I wanna be a girl. A women. I cant hide it any longer from myself.

I hope he can send me to a gender therapist than.

any ideas how I can tell him teh best way?

My Idea was ist to just tell him. 1 sentence. after the welcome.

"Hi Doc, I wanna be a woman".

More like, "I am a woman, now I want to look like one. Help me do that."

Just say I'm transgender, I wantt to be referred to the GIC in... That's what I plan on doing and if they say I'm going to refer you to this mental health place to see a psychiatrist, I'd stand my ground and see another GP if they still won't listen. Good luck, I hope I'll have your courage soon.
They/them pronouns preferred.

I told my gp a month or 2 ago about being transgender and that I am on hormones. He just smiled at me and said that it does  not suprise him at all... (he knows me since I was around 7 years old)
My opining sentence went as follows: " im not sure how open minded you are, but I'm transgender, and..."

If your gp doesn't support you, find a new one...

General Practioner, in some places also known as family doctor, others as your primary care physician.
