wow, what women have to deal with.  sitting by my self in front of a down town  suburban  restaurant at midnight yesterday, a drunken Neanderthal first asked for a  cigarette  ( I don't smoke) then said " you look like a lady what's your name as he was coming towards me. I let him know how I felt  . Has any else come across  the middle aged drunk with the pick up line " you look like a lady ".

No not drunk but had my times of having to fend off advances.

I was already dating or married so it was flattering but still made me uncomfortable, oh and some where how can i say this but take home material. 

this wasn't take home material, it was  nice to be seen as a lady.

Being a woman by yourself in a public space is seen by some guys, drunk or not, as an invitation to hit on you.
