I've got similar issues where I'm fine the majority of the time but the occasional person will know and I've been considering getting facial feminization as it's something that I'm conscious of in my jawline. I'll show a few pics here that showcase what I mean :)

I think that you don't have much of anything to worry about :D xx

How is your confidence in yourself hun. As far as looks you look beautiful. Confidence in ones self tho along with manurisms play the majority role in passing. Even if your voice is less than perfect, if your confident in yourself and present well with your manurisms especially as good as you look you should have no trouble passing.

I posted a different pic awhile back and most people said that I have some good features but i don't quite pass. well heres another pick I trimmed eyebrows and wore a little make-up.

if I didn't have a slight 5 o'clock shadow would I pass.

ps this is also pre-hrt!

Amber,

I think it is really hard to say whenever there is shadow involved.  Do you happen to have some concealer/foundation/powder?  Because I am just starting out, I have bad shadow, but I have a nice regimen of shave, primer, orange concealer over shadow, foundation, powder.  My shadow is actually pretty bad without this for now, so I'm convinced it most people can hide it if done correctly.  The other thing that might help is blowdry your hair.

I have some concealer and foundation but I am wearing it in the photo and the shadow is still there:(. I am going to go to maceys and see if they can help me.

As far as blow drying my hair I try to avoid blow dryers, straighteners, and curling irons because they damage hair. I want to grow it out more.

Amber,

I believe I can help you rid the shadow.  Yours seems much less than mine.  First you gotta develop your shaving techniques.

* Take a long warm shower
* Put some shaving lotion on your face and let it sit for a few minutes
* Rub the cream on against the grain
* Shave with the grain and stretch the skin to get closer
* On the second pass, rub the cream on against the grain to get hairs standing up
* Apply a thin layer of primer
* Apply bright orange concealer or even red lipstick only on the ssahdow
* Use a thin layer of foundation over this, apply with a brush
* Gently tap or roll some powder on

This seems to work wonders for me.  I totally understand not wanting to damage hair.  You might try just a little blow drying and combing, but just not so much it will damage it.

Not bad at all for pre hrt. You have nice features for hrt to do it's magic with. I love your hair also but styling it a little would do wonders. I realize you don't much care for heat producing styling devices, but sometimes they are necessary to achieve the results we desire.

I'll leave the shadow alone cause you've already gotten some great advice about how to conceal it.

TashaEve

Hi everyone.
I'm losing my perspective recently and I can't tell if I'm passing. I am pretty much full time outside of work but I'm not sure if people are just being nice.

I've been on HRT for about 7 months now. About to go fulltime at work. Need to know if I'm just making a fool of myself.

2011, pre HRT:

May 2014, 3 months HRT:

July 2014, 4.5 months HRT:

End of August 2014, 6 months HRT (Apologies for the much LOVED scarf):
