Hey Jennifer!
        Sure you could pass for a middle aged woman! You'd probably do well with a neck lift and upper eyelid lift like I did, makes the girl look years younger and gives you're self esteem a big boost.

Thanks for the comments but I am not overly fond of doctors and surgeries and will try and keep them to a minimum

I think losing some of the weight may help too. You have what seems like a good foundation to start with though!

that is a work in progress kate - I am down 45 lbs since I started losing and want to do another 45-50 over the next 9 months or so

Hi Jade, You look good. Your Nice and thin too. You might try a lighter eyeshadow tho, or try blending a lighter color over a darker base. I just think it would look better with your skin tone. Experiment with different shades. Also, a dark brown eyeliner will do wonders for that finishing touch to really bring out your eyes. Makeup takes practice hun. You might try viewing some makeup tutorials on you tube. There's a real good one on there now on how to do "smokey eyes." In addition there are some very good ones on doing your eyebrows. I was taught by a professional stylist a few years back and I still find these video's very helpful. Especially with picking up on the latest trends and techniques.

Ok, I wasn't sure if I was going to do this or not, still pretty sure I cant pass, but, I bought this wig today, and for the very first time, I think, as least I have a chance to..  12 mos & 2 days on HRT, 2 laser sessions only, no makeup, brows just thinned and arched, eh, it was 4pm so i could have used a shave... but.. this, has been the only thing in years that has calmed my dysphoria.. even just the possibility of passing..  I figured, FFS at a minimum, hairline, brows nose, upper lip, chin, jawline, trach shave..



This wig I pick up Wednesday, it'll be dirty blonde, streaked, highlights..  this one fell/lay so perfectly, just the color was to mousy..

Thanks for the tips! I did not touch my eyebrows, kind of afraid to. If I mess them up they would be hard to fix. I hope I can get a friend to help me do them. I will try out a brown eyeliner and some lighter shadow and maybe repost a pic at some point. Again thanks for the tips, it is so hard to judge oneself. I will look at youtube again, I just found most of the ones I watched were WAY to much makeup.. looks fake or plastic... I just want a subtle look, just want to blend in, not stand out.

Days are getting too hot here on the south hemisphere as we approach summer...so, I'm finding myself suffering quite a bit because of my hair that is now on my shoulders.

As, on my particular case, hair makes a lot of difference on passing, does wearing it on a ponytail makes me look too masculine?
