Well your lucky enough to have somewhat long hair, just style them differently to get a more feminine look, and without make up it's kinda hard to pass... Are you on HRT? The dress is really cute :) too black though you should wear black on the top and something colorful on the bottom to make the appearance of a bigger bottom and smaller top are I think... Good luck on your transition!

Hey there,

I am already on hormones for approx 6  months. Letting my hair grow for almost a year now. I am seriously considering FFS.
What do you think? Is there potential?

Absolutely.  In photos 2 and 3, you look unquestionably female.  Give the hormones the time they need to work, then use FFS to iron out any remaining problems.  Not only do you have potential, you also have some pretty results right now.

Love the hair, by the way.

Absolutely and I agree,Pics 2 and 3 look female. I would shape your eyebrows and try styling your hair as it looks quite long- I'm sooo jealous. There's a lot that is merely an I.lusion with looking female, both eyes and hair both add to the illusion.

Thanks! :) yea the wig was about $5 I really don't care about it i just got it to get an idea of what I would look like with long hair. Right now I'm just buying the cheapest things I can get until I figure out my size, style and to get a basic idea of how I'll look. I've also tried the red lipstick trick but its too red and makes me look like a clown.

Girl the wig I got on is a $5 wig and it looks better than yours. I mean you can get a better wig for cheap, and you should practice with make up anyway and try something natural because usually women don't wear a lot of make up if it's not a special occasion... It's hard to get good at it.

Got new glasses, and I've been sort of practicing a bit with makeup.

Still need to get hair/eyebrows done - I'm using cover-up over my facial hair then foundation over that and it seems to be working for now, I guess since I really don't have a lot anyway. I really like the glasses, but I'm not convinced they're doing much for me in terms of looking female, and I don't think I look remotely female anyway, so. I don't know, really. Not massively pleased, I don't think. Any thoughts? Suggestions?

Do you think? Thank you. I just don't see it. I guess it's the same for everyone, your brain just sees a man no matter what.

My computer thinks you are female and very beautiful. This is for Pic 1.

confidence : true ( value : 1 )
pose : roll(-1.9) ,yaw(-4.94) ,pitch(11.05)
race :white(0.85)
emotioin : happy:97%,calm:1%
age : 27.42 ( value : 27.42 )
smile : true ( value : 0.96 )
glasses : no glass ( value : 0 )
sunglasses : false ( value : 0.01 )
beard : false ( value : 0 )
mustache : false ( value : 0 )
eye_closed : open ( value : 0 )
mouth_open_wide : 31% ( value : 0.31 )
beauty : 93.34 ( value : 0.93348 )
gender : female ( value : 0 )

The closer the "Gender" value is to 1 the more male the computer rates you. Yours has a value of zero, so the computer is seeing no male characteristics in pic 1. The other 2 pics also rated zero "female" for gender.

You look great!

I've been afraid of changing, cuz I built my life around you.

The first pic, your profile pic is great Here is how computer rated you.

confidence : true ( value : 1 )
pose : roll(-18.34) ,yaw(-17) ,pitch(-4.77)
race :
white(0.44)
emotioin : happy:73%,confused:7%
age : 28.62 ( value : 28.62 )
smile : true ( value : 0.92 )
glasses : no glass ( value : 0.3 )
sunglasses : false ( value : 0.08 )
beard : false ( value : 0 )
mustache : false ( value : 0 )
eye_closed : open ( value : 0.01 )
mouth_open_wide : 0% ( value : 0 )
beauty : 52.18 ( value : 0.5218 )
gender : female ( value : 0 )

In the last pic the Gender rating still was female but not completely. (I don't have time to run all the pics)
gender : female ( value : 0.41 )
as the number gets closer to 1 the more "male" the computer rates you. Closer to zero = more female.

I love your profile pic!

Okay, everyone. Here goes! What do you think? :) Positives? Negatives? Yes, I'm nervous, but please be brutally honest. I'm pre... well, everything. I'll probably start HRT in the next month or so. Same with laser hair removal. I'm working on growing out my natural hair (same color). And yes, I've been working on taking some weight off. I'm about 10 pounds lighter, now, than when these were taken. Thank you all in advance :)

I personally think that wigs are easy to see trough and thus easier to see if something is going on. But that is me :O! So it is good you are growing out your natural hair ^^. Other than that you will do just fine :D! I like the third image ^^.

I am working on a program that does facial recognition and it also evaluates other attributes of the subjects, IE gender, emotion, race, etc. So I was linking in what my computer evaluated the images as.

I would agree with Kirey, I think wigs whilst very good do need to suit well to not look like a wig. I have the same problem while I grow my natural hair out so really need a really good quality wig if I'm to pull of the hair right now. But apart from the wig, and considering your pre hrt your looking great. You'll do very well on HRT and your focussing on all the right things. Get into shape as best you can before starting HRT as its a lot harder to shift the weight on E.

Brutally honest? No, no, no no.

People here seem to rate people assuming the people will go to a gay club in L.A. or somewhere with lots of acceptance. for me, unless I think you could pass to a farmer in Cambodia and a gay hating kkk member in Tennessee, that's a no. And that's the only fair way to judge.

In those pictures? You look like a slightly effeminate guy. Your hairline looks to be up really high unless it's the camera angle. You didn't shave very well and you didn't seem to cover the moustache with makeup either. If you did use makeup it's way too little. Isee you used some mascara but I think most people wouldn't even notice it. Your face looks kind of muscular which definitely isn't feminine. Don't worry though, you can get botox for your jaw muscles and almost any place in your face and it's not expensive :) do you have any other pics?

With ffs, there's potential. Without? No.
You should also really practice doing your makeup.. and the eyebrows don't look good like that. Girls can have thick eyebrows too if they're styled..But not like that.
