I've heard you can use contouring makeup, but I'm not so sure.

If you learn anything helpful please drop me a tip  ;)
I've been afraid of changing, cuz I built my life around you.
but time makes you bolder, children get older , I'm getting older too.

You're all sweet. Thank you :)
If I find anything I'll let you know. The only other thing I can think of is wearing a scarf or something with a big collar, but I'm kind of going for that sort of tomboyish sort of look and I'm not one for wearing scarves...especially because I live in AZ and it never gets cold enough. XD

I notice that you have very feminine fingers, which I do not have.

Good observation, I picked up on that too!

I'm 24, MtF... Not on HRT yet, so I guess pre-everything... Not wearing any make-up on the pics, just my day to day boy look... Should I have hope? I haven't posted here in a while... That Rekognition site genders me female but... it also says I'm ugly...

You're pretty much the opposite of ugly. I bet you would pass, no problem. I think that program uses a base picture, and gives you a "beauty" percentage based on how close you look to their picture, so it's a pretty subjective number.

I can't stand those computer face analysis things either.  Use them for entertainment purposes at best because they're about as accurate as reading tea leaves when it comes to transgender people.

You look female and you look cute.  Pre-everything?  You're going to stun people when you've been on HRT for a while. :)

Not hardly, better jettison that site link, they don't know what they're talking about! Some people are just endowed with good looks and you my dear are endowed with rather spectacular feminine beauty.

Hi everyone, I'm currently pre hrt, I've been working on beard removal since April.  I've been growing my hair out but it's not long enough to go without my wig (hate wearing the wig, can't wait until my hair is that long).  No makeup was harmed in the making of this picture, I'm fact I don't own any yet.

Anyway, do you think I pass...

I can only just repeat what everyone else has said, you're so beautiful and that site is obviously broken :P
All these years, all these memories, there was you. You pull me through time.

Well this is my first time posting in this thread... I've been too afraid until now. I'm a little fragile emotionally right now, so please be honest but don't be too mean if that's ok?

I have had a bit of FFS and am just over 2 weeks post op (my avatar is pre FFS), I still have a lot of swelling around my chin, jaw and nose, especially the tip. I also have some marks on my chin due to an electrolysis disaster about 2 months ago, I really hope it fades in time... I'm still pretty crushed by it, I have nice skin otherwise and the marks kind of look a little like beard shadow from a distance which I obviously find distressing.. I'm four months on HRT and I'm still growing my hair out.. I'm also missing some hair around the incision at my temples so it makes my hairline look worse than it is, I have no male pattern baldness going on though, although I might eventually get some hair transplants to smooth  my hairline out a little if needed.

well here goes...

You are a pretty woman already so your eventual outcome will be stunning, I'd bank on it!

lemon_ice, wow.  Those are some extremely feminizing changes.  Money well spent (not that you needed the surgery etc. etc. etc.)

Your ffs has turned out very very well I don't see any thing that screams male. you are very pretty! and just to let you know I am being 100% honest. you are a very attractive women :icon_love:

Are you trying to grow your hair out or are you gonna keep it short? because I think your hair would be absolutely stunning if you grew it out

Aww thanks you Shantel :) Well that really made my afternoon.. I'm still pretty confused I think, I still often see a guy, or think that I look weird when I look at my pictures.. I might just need some time to adjust... also I can't really smile yet, and I found that very feminising for me pre FFS, plus I just love smiling :) so I feel a bit self conscious about that. So thanks so much for your kind comments, I'm still in Buenos Aires and as I can't speak Spanish I think I'm getting a little lonely and depressed which kind of warps your self perception I think.. so some outside perspective is great to have :) Thankyou :)

Claire.

And thank you too Brenda :) my comments above apply here too, so thank you. And yes that was very nice of you to say that I didn't need the surgery etc. :) and I was looking quite nice before from the front pre FFS, but my profile totally gave the game away. and no amount of HRT was ever going to change that :P so here I am, for better or for worse.. I just want to get on and blend in, especially to be able to go out at night (I have some young fun friends even though I am a bit of a nerdy homebody lol), I felt rather under threat when out at night before which sucked my enjoyment right out of it, hopefully I can just be a tall girl now :)

Hi Amber :) Thank you for your reassurance too, you do sound very genuine :) I definitely still have a way to go in my transition so that is lovely to hear.. so thank you again :)

I'm definitely growing my hair out too! :) I don't mind it at this length, but I would love it at least below my shoulders :) I've grown it once before and my natural highlights really come out when it's a bit longer. It should be a little easier to manage too once it's longer, I usually wake up in the morning with quite a corona of hair sticking out in all directions lol.. I wouldn't want to wake up in the morning beside my special someone looking the way I do right now :P So I won't be having any haircuts for a while yet.

Hope you're having a lovely day, Claire
