Ok, so on that Rekog site the beauty stats are determined by shades and smoothness of color tone. If using makeup and basically making yourself look like a plastic doll it will rate you higher in beauty. Kind of lame if you ask me. I also uses proportions so if the face is at different angles it does not see height/width proportions correctly. I have used the same algorithms in Apps I have designed and most of the stats are pretty close. The beauty stat is dumb cuz beauty is different to different people but this is a computer program, what does it know as far as beauty.

I have used a lot of other face analysis software since I needed to evaluate them for projects I was doing and the Rekog is probably one of the the best (It is used by the NSA, security firms and marketing groups), Picretrev is one of the the worst. But remember, use it for entertainment only, never trust the computer. Remember Skynet? HAL? Matrix...  ;D

Love,
Jade
I've been afraid of changing, cuz I built my life around you.
but time makes you bolder, children get older , I'm getting older too.

Thanks, that's rather interesting... I just tried the Rekognition site with all of my post FFS photos and a selection of my best pre FFS photos.. I remember trying the Picretrev site a couple of months ago and a couple of my good pre FFS pics were analysed as being female, which I was rather happy about at the time :) Well when trying Rekognition just now, absolutely none of my pre FFS were analysed as being female, however EVERY single one of my post FFS pics were gendered as female (with some pretty good beauty scores too if I'm allowed to brag :p), it also guessed my age really well with a range of 29-32, and I've just turned 31. So rather happy with that result :)

Also something I was surprised with, with two of my  post FFS pics I had a nose cast on, Rekognition coped with no problem and I still got a pretty good beauty score despite the colour and tone variation in my face due to the cast. Rather impressed :)
All these years, all these memories, there was you. You pull me through time.

I'm new to the forum and working to learn how to post images.
So here goes...

As I mentioned in my post a few days ago: I'm currently pre hrt, I've been working on beard removal since April, I've been growing my hair out but it's not long enough to go without my wig (hate wearing the wig, can't wait until my hair is that long).  I've also lost ~60 lbs in the last 17 months.  At this point, I don't use makeup, but am very interested to learn some simple techniques.
This was me on Friday when I went out shopping for a new coat after I left my therapy session.
Anyway, I'm interested in your feedback...
Love

It's awesome that you're getting out and about as your true self, and congratulations on your weight loss!  Makeup application can be a little intimidating at first, but there are a lot great YouTube videos to help you get started, and you can also get a free makeover at a department store, and the makeup artist will be able to tell you what your face shape is, and determine your skin tone (warm, cool, or neutral) to help you pick the right colors.

you can bring out your lips more in proportion to your nose by wearing lip color.

lip gloss is an easy and un intimidating way to try that. it has larger room for application error too

Ohh! do me too! do me too! :P

Lemon Ice, mind if I call you lice... I'm kidding.  You look great!!!  Where did you have you FFS, if you don't mind me asking?  You've probably already mentioned it somewhere.

Mermaid, wtf?  You look like you're 14, literally.  Your pretty much my age and you look like you could be just entering High School.  I haven't really aged much since high school, but it looks like you stopped aging in middle school.

And RachaelAnne, seems to me that you'll do fine.

Hmm, I would prefer Claire if that's ok lol. Aww Thank you! :) I had my FFS at T-Change with Javier Rossi and Amanda, I'm rather happy so far, especially with my forehead. And the photos without the nose cast, I took them two days ago at about 17 days post op. My chin, lower face and nose are still a bit swollen so there should be some improvement in those areas still :) I'm still only about half way through facial hair removal too, god I can't wait to be all done with that, I'm really hanging out for my next laser session!

Claire :)

Claire, wow, just 4 months? I'm jealous. I don't think you need to do anything with your hairline. Waiting to see how the longer hair turns out!

Rachael you have a very good starting point for HRT ;) also looking forward to see how your real hair looks!

Get outta here Jasmine, there's the fabulous thread over there, pass pass pass!  ;D

don't tilt your chin down. you have a beautiful face and tilting it down makes it look elongated to the point of imbalance.

I think you have some bruising from FFS still not dissolved in your avatar pic? doing a thin foundation - concealer - foundation  sandwich will help dispel notions that you been hit by a door.

Do me too, little Ms. Critique

Thanks for the advice :) Yes that's a little post op bruising that's still fading, don't worry, I just tell everyone that I was beaten up by my pimp :P

now everyone please don't think I'm out here judging people... I sincerely want to help :)

Jasmine...  you are beautiful and young. I'm not sure how you sound but most probably you pass in voice and every aspect.
THe internet has a long, long memory.
if ever you intend to do stealth or deep stealth, images posted ages ago could come back to haunt you.

That's very trueeee. That's why I'm not sure if I'll regret posting on this thread $: I don't really care if people know but if they don't know it's not the first thing I bring up to them. I wouldn't consider myself stealth but when I go to parties I've been with guys who don't know. It's nice but I really don't know if I'd ever consider myself "stealth"

And Jasmine, you are just stunning. Honestly the trans thing would never occur to anyone from your appearance alone, they would just be too busy thinking 'wow, she's just so pretty!' :) And then proceed to either being jealous or trying to think of sweet pick up line :p

Thanks :) You're sweet. Honestly, compliments are hard for to take from people & I don't really ever let them get to my head because I feel like people throw them around pretty easily. I know I do anyways, lol . You're very pretty too though! I saw your before picture & wow! I would have definitely tried talking to you if I met you as your former self & now you're a beautiful woman! It's crazy how transition works sometimes haha

Jasmine and Claire broke my transdar... I'll have to go get it fixed again. or minimally recalibrated

:D :D :D :D :D
Im sorry I think that your transdar is just fine but some people are just undetectable. even by the most hi tech and reliable transdar.  :P
