For all of our FTM friends, I highly recommend you check out
King, Warrior, Magician, Lover, by Robert Moore and Douglass Gillette. Actually, this book is great for MTF's, too, if you think of it in feminine terms. Think "Queen, Mother, Priestess, Playgirl."
I'm just a sucker for Carl Jung.
For masculinity, check out
Acrobolix.com. It's largely about martial arts tricking, acrobatics, and bodybuilding. The guy who runs it, Jujimufu, is a real, macho, masculine kind of a guy. Not macho in a jerky way at all, but macho in the sense that he's super manly. Having talked to him many times, he's a real sweetheart. And he's hot, too! <3
For femininity, maybe listen to... nah, TOTALLY listen to female artists and female-fronted bands such as Frenté, Sia, Sleater-Kinney, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, and Mazzy Star.
Or you know what? To become more masculine or feminine, hang out with more masculine or feminine people. It'll rub off on ya. No innuendo intended with "rub off."
But "innuendo intended" looks and sounds like the word Nintendo.
