Since I'm 13 and can't really cook too well, my selection is fairly limited compared to my mom's ex-michelin star menus. When I need to cook for myself (and usually my dad) my go-to thing is usually some good, fresh sirloin steak with decent marbling. I fry that with some garlic butter and plenty of seasoning (put the seasoning on the steak while the steak is cooking. Good tip I learned) and add some mushrooms in after. Next, I take some dried pasta from the seemingly endless supply in the cupboard, and boil that up. I usually try to have the water boiled before the I put the steaks in the pan. Once the steak and pasta is cooked, I stick them on a plate with a nice pile of salad and put the mushrooms on top. I serve that with some celery, and if I'm able to, some vegetables like broccoli and carrots. Of course, I usually make some pepper sauce to go with the steak and mushrooms. I'm not sure how healthy this all is, but it's darn good and it's easy to make.
