Wow, you're right! There is a bit of an emphasis on teaching afabs how to look more androgynous. I once noticed that a trans shop was selling "gender-neutral" shirts that were basically men's button up shirts and I was like, that's not gender-neutral if you're amab :/
My husband has been wearing makeup every day. He wears makeup made for men; much of it comes from South Korea because that's a normal thing over there. Two of the brands he likes are called Menaji and Etude House (the second is Korean, I believe.) I also bought him a nice matte eyeshadow set from Urban Decay. Most makeup made for women is shimmery or sparkly, so you have to find matte products if you don't want to look overly feminine.
There's tons more I could say if you're interested. Just let me know and I'll ask hubs

What are you into fashion-wise? Do you like skirts? Are there any specific styles you like? I could tell you about some dark androgynous styles, but I'm a weirdo goth so I don't know if you want that. You could also look at older neo-romantic celebrities like David Bowie and Adam Ant for inspiration.
