I Have worked up a great new recipe that I want to share
step 1, bake or boil 8 - 10 medium to large sweet potatoes
when they are soft mash them like you are making mashed potatoes
step 2, in a large soup pot put in a half gallon of good apple cider, dice 3-4 shallots or a small to medium red onion
1 teaspoon of all spice, salt and pepper to taste, and grate some fresh Ginger and add [also to taste]
heat this up to a slow simmer and stir in your mashed sweet potatoes
the last step is to peel core and slice thinly at least 2 granny smith apples and add to the soup
a last optional ingredient is some small ham pieces
when all is combined and hot serve and eat
I hope you all will enjoy the recipe
