Cactus is one of the happy memories of my childhood. Naomi, now a very pretty (cis) woman, gave our 5th grade class napolitas, which had an odd butt not objectionable taste (like egg salad or herring). It would work really well with falafel or kofta in a pita with tehina. I will be cooking steaks with chimichurri this weekend.
