For those that haven't been able to watch the doctor lately Netflix is finally getting season 8. I know a lot of you have already seen it, I had to drop cable and haven't been able to see it. Yeah [emoji7]

And I am really excited for Series 9 myself. I have been watching since the 9th Doctor was on the (then) Sci-Fi Channel. That got me into the new series, which led me to the old series. My local library has been adding the DVDs of the show (old and new series) so it has been nice to catch up there. I can't remember what Netflix has for the old series though.

There is a podcast that I know of though! It is called "Bigger On The Inside". Two guys sit down and watch Doctor Who from the very beginning all the way up to the current Doctor. It is really good. :-)

Sure, the name of the podcast is called "The Web of Queer" and it is Fantastic

Netflix has random old stories like I want to say 1 from every season but I am not sure. I have watched some of it, however I have not finished what they have.

I Just got into who Two years ago, so a bit of a newbie but still love it. Christopher Eccleston is my favorite Doctor.

I will thinking about looking into that podcast.

Just thought I would share that Doctor Who just casted its 1st Transgender actress Bethany Black. There is no news though on what kind of character she is playing. I am excited though none the less.

Yay, Doctor Who fans! I'm massive Doctor Who fan, to the point where my parents made my thirtieth birthday Doctor Who-themed with banners and cake decorations. Got into it when the new series started, though I've since gone back and checked out a fair chunk of the classic stuff (and I've got a sizeable DVD collection thanks to a friend offloading loads on me). Matt Smith is my favourite Doctor; I just love the way he completely inhabited the role, managing to be young and childish but with the old man lurking just under the surface. Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker and David Tennant are also favourites, and Peter Capaldi is closing the ranks fast; it's great to see such a change of pace after the young geeky Doctor was done so well by Smith and Tennant. Stupidly excited for LEGO Dimensions and the Doctor Who stuff they've got in there () - I'm going to be so broke when that game comes out .

Yippee. 8th season on Netflix today.

Which reminds me. Does anyone know when the LEGO Doctor Who sets are coming out? To the best of my knowledge, I think there are a few sets. Maybe 3 or 4?

There's been no news on the actual sets as far as I'm aware, not even what will be in them. We're getting the twelfth Doctor, K-9, a Cyberman and a Dalek in the LEGO Dimensions stuff though (plus every other Doctor, Clara and Missy in the game itself), so they'll probably feature in there somewhere.

Neat! I did like the trailer. It has me excited for the new series. I wasn't crazy about the quickly jumping back and forth to black. I get that it makes the footage more exciting this way. But all it does is make me have a headache. Plus it feels so blah, when trailers do that. Okay rant over.

Is anyone else going to go see the two part series 8 finally in theaters with the extra short that will lead into series 9?

I have a timer on my phone to set up my DVR to record the new series. I'm so hyped right now, especially with Missy coming back.

OMG, my wife and I watched the episode and wow, awesome!!!! Can't wait for next week

Loved it so much . So glad I managed to avoid any big spoilers; gasped really loudly at the reveal before the credits . Peter Capaldi remains utterly amazing, and can we have Michelle Gomez in it every week? Can she just show up and be snide for a bit?

I love this part of the year, when we have new Doctor Who to look forward to every week for a bit. Can't wait for Saturday .
