I honestly had NO IDEA you were under 18, based on your pictures! Consider yourself lucky in that department while you wait for these next 6 months to go by.

I just had my first appointment with a doctor yesterday. I initially called for an appointment in April, they didn't schedule me til July, then a few days before my appointment they called to cancel. The doctor had a "family emergency", and then was leaving the hospital for another job, so they had to reschedule me with a new doctor (and almost too late; I almost killed myself the day of the original appointment). While the hospital used to work under informed consent, I guess that's not a thing anymore, and they're telling me if I can squeeze in at least 4 psych appointments in the next two months, MAYBE I can start then (and I probably won't be able to, with the long waiting lists for new patients). If not, it might not happen until December.
The waiting is the hardest part, as I've already been waiting for years, pushing it off for silly reasons. If anything, it will actually be the waiting that ends up killing me. It's moments like this I'm glad I at least started some form of natural transition months ago, even if I'm usually too sick to stick to a gym regimen. At least I can get some form of benefits of transition while waiting for the real deal.
