Heyy everyone i would like to meet and talk with some people going through similar things. Im new to this, i mean ive been dealing with it for the longest time, but only 2 weeks in acceptance of what is. I am much happier nowadays for some odd reason. Theres so much going on in my life at this moment that im afraid i might derail. I never told anyone about how i felt deep inside. Like a girl.
Im about to turn 25 and im so possitive about my decision but on the other hand overwhelmed with not knowing much about the subject. I tried seeking some professional help but no luck this time. Im not really sure who to turn to for answers.

Dear V:

Welcome here and good to hear that your identity is beginning to sort itself out.  It's an intense period and I'm years past my years of doubt, guilt and fear. But I'll share a little.

You will survive and you can have a terrific life, especially starting at your age.  My advice is three fold: 1) See a gender therapist ASAP, 2) Keep posting and reading here, and 3) Seek out a support group or two.  You don't have to rush into all this but the therapist is the lynch pen throughout your journey, where ever it may take you.  So, if you can start there and soon.

Please stay in touch and keep up the posting here . . . talking to others creates so much good and desirable stuff.    ;)

Take good care,

Rachel

If you give your location (country, state/province or nearest major city -- but don't give your address!), people might be able to suggest local support groups and/or services.

I am going to give you a little advice that you may follow or ignore but if you follow it, it will reduce the pain you will feel in the future. As long as you are moving in the right direction in life you will tend to feel better after each issue that you deal with. If you are not making progress, the pain will return. You have made some progress accepting yourself so you feel better for now. The next thing you need to do is start therapy. Therapy may not be easy for you and you may become uncomfortable but as you resolved your issues, and move on to the next phase, you will feel better again. There are additional problems to overcome but there will reach a point where the problems are all taken care of and you will be happy without the pain returning.

This is very true, I need to keep this in mind myself.
