Here's a yummy snack recipe:

     -  Make scrambled eggs - one, two, three, however many are your appetite - in a fry pan, pot, dish, etc.
     -  Add thinly sliced banana - again, as much as you like banana - as the scrambled eggs cook.
     -  As the eggs / banana near completion, place on thin dough or flour tortilla and continue cooking.
     -  Fold dough to surround the egg / banana or place a second flour tortilla on top; flip and cook / heat this second side.
     -  When done, drizzle condensed sweetened milk on the top, drizzle chocolate syrup, dust with powdered sugar.

Yes, banana and eggs go well together.  This tastes delish whether piping hot or put in the fridge for a cool snack later.

Last night, sliced and pan seared (in olive oil, of course!) bell pepper with jalapeƱo sliced in.  Mixed in sweet Italian sausage.  Served over linguini...because I forgot to buy rice!  It came out great though, so no complaint.

Tonight I am making vegan chili for my first time!

Fridge and cabinets got blocked off during work on the house. So it's premade pricey vegan burritos and awful chips and just bread sometimes because I'm tired and poor and we can't keep pretending to be ambitious and rich.

We do have V8 and Luna bars, so we have that going for us.

Me personally for dinner is water but I pretended to eat earlier so we could be classy.

I just had, chicken and shrimp chow mein, with a glass of Ghost Pines Cabernet Sauvignon, then finished it off with some fancy belgium chocolate.

I peeled, quartered, and cored a pineapple, then let it sit in a Ziploc bag with brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves for awhile. Then I put on a rocket-hot grill for about three minutes a side. Then I ate it. The whole pineapple.  >:-)

Baked tofu fingers with a mixed greens, apple and yam salad.
The tofu is cut into 1 cm wide strips and coated with a cornmeal and chili powder mix and baked 15 min at 400F.
Salad was mixed greens (lettuce blends, spinach and kale), fresh diced apple, cubed leftover baked yam, sunflower seeds and dried cranberries dressed with a homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

I was friends with a Samoan family in younger days, I learned to prep a pineapple years ago  ;D

Last night I made my own rendition of a bacon, Swiss and mushroom Kahuna burger with potato salad and black beans

Now that the pineapple has settled, I could go for one or two of those burgers!  :eusa_drool:

You realize of course that in culinary circles Kahuna is reference to a slice of grilled pineapple, Yes?

I just had a bad choice of beef hot dogs(not very good tasting at all) and generic Oreo cookies, I definitely need to do better.
