Went shopping in Costco, woo-hoo cool right ! Wait it gets better, I have been fealing great lately (I will tell you why tomorrow)

Well the lovely lady at the cash register called me ma'am a few times and told me I was looking very nice. We then engaged in the typical chit chat
It seems that I cry like hell when I am very happy. Luckily  I made it to my truck and was able to control myself some so I could do the rest of my errands not looking like I lost my dog.
When I got home my wife (now roommate  :-\) told me she is not surprised at the comment. She said she showed a new picture of me to some friends and they all had nothing but very nice complimentaryt hings to say.

I spoke with HR today, was a very pleasant chat.. She knew absolutely nothing about policy or procedure, which surprised me to no end, given who I work for.In the end no big deal since this will go down how I want. They will make a name change announcement on 08 September (Sarabeth  :) . I will tell my immediate coworkers the news and my expectations (for lack of a better word) the same day. I will not be there for 2 weeks immediately after the big announcement.  I work in a rather unique place to be transitioning but what the heck. Feeling pretty good.

I received my new  medium heeled dress boots.  I enjoy walking around work in them although I am probably pushing my luck a bit.

Hi Sara,
Great for you, I am intrigued to know what type of workplace you are at?

That is just a dream for me. Would love to hear how any reactions went.

After 5 months of waiting to get a call back for therapy, I am now set up to start. First appointment is in 3 weeks!

My Name Change Petition requires a copy of my original Birth Certificate, no matter if I have a Passport, Naturalization Certificate or a DD-214. I found that out when I went to the Courthouse last monday to file.

It is the only thing I need for my submission.

My Mom texted me this morning saying it was in the mail overnight and I should get it by Noon today. :)

My wife and I had a couple of friends over for lunch today.  I was already out to them, so I was able to wear a skirt for their visit.  They didn't blink an eye - totally cool with it.  We talked about all kinds of stuff, not just TG topics, though we didn't avoid that either.  It was just a fun afternoon with some good friends, and I was able to be myself.  Yay!

I have been having transient chest pain that usually lasts 20-30 minutes at a time then goes away, since last November, but my EKGs have been normal; incidently, I was having chest pain a couple of days ago, and I decided to go to the ER at my local hospital. The Doctor ordered a chest x-Ray, 12 lead EKG, and blood tests which included checking my triponin to rule out a heart attack. All of the tests were normal, but one of the Doctors compared that EKG to one I had a week prior, and she found that my T-Wave was depressed, so she admitted me for a cardiac stress test the following morning. I was given a chemical stress test; the first step was to administer a contrast drug, and then had 3D imaging of my heat. After the initial imaging I was connected to a 12-lead EKG to monitor all of the angles of my heart, and then they administered a drug that induced stress on my heart (it felt like I was exercising); the effects lasted for 1 minute, and then I was given a caffeinated beverage to counteract the effects of the drug, then they rested me  for 30 minutes, and did the last set of images. The results of the test showed that there possibly could have been an area of decreased blood flow (ischemia), which would mean an occluded coronary artery, but the Doctors were not sure do to the results of the imaging, so they ordered cardiac catheteriztion for me the following morning. The test was an easy process for me;'the Doctor inserted a small catheter, about the same size as an IV line, into my right femoral artery, and inspected my coronary arteries, which thankfully turned out to be clear, so I did not need a stent, and my heart is healthy, and he diagnosed my chest pain as musculoskeletal. So, now I am recovering and all is well; the doctor plugged my femoral artery with collagen, so I need to watch for any signs of bleeding, clotting, or infection, but the incidence of any of that occurring is very low, so I should be fine. And now I have peace of mind knowing my heart is healthy; if anyone needs this, please do not hesitate as it is a simple process and it could save your life; I am pre-op and it was not an issue, and I was treated very well. 😊

Last time I had an angio I contracted sepsis, was in a coma for four days, and ended up in the hospital for about 6 weeks. I'm glad yours went well.

Went to the therapist today and concluded we will be done in just a few more meetings. I had nothing but happy thoughts to talk about after 11 days on estradiol. I am at such peace with myself for perhaps the first time in my adult life.

No one but other women even noticed.  Then again, I am pretty sure nothing I do surprises anyone, yet.

Another happy thing happened today, got a week's worth of pantyhose to go with my boots.  Cannot wait to wear them.

Had an all day electrolysis session. I'm very puffy faced, and much of hair was tougher than they expected so they weren't able to do a full clearing, but I'm so happy!

Drugs. Well, technically lidocaine injections.  They hurt, but once that lidocaine going, they can go at your face like crazy.  Still, you have to have patience to sit there in that chair for 12 hours. I had a few potty breaks and a lunch break, but it requires patience.

Did you check under your pillow? Or maybe it rolled under the couch?
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

The doctor assured me it won't be seen again.  😃
