A work colleague I have worked with for years was made redundant a few months ago with a nice payout has a new himself a job after only a few weeks of looking. :) Much better and more $. Has a young family so this is fantastic.
Made my day yesterday when he told me as I still can not understand why he was let go. Crazy.
Helping another get a new job as well.
So long and thanks for all the fish

A visit to the pain monster today
Quite enjoyable in a sick way

Blonde highlights have a way of lighting up your face and making you look younger, especially since it hides those annoying gray hairs, that us more experienced gals seem to accumulate  ;D

What made me happy today?

The thought of my visit to Detroit Michigan, and having my mom finally meet her new daughter and wet up with my good friend from FaceBook who is also MTF, on Labor Day.

I had a number of visitors at the hospital today. Day 3 of recovery and things are going as well as can be expected. Swelling is not excessive and things look good.

Really DarkRhino,
Wet up your friend?
Sorry my sick sense of humor based on others mistakes.
Makes for a good read though.

Cheers Sue.
Treat life's difficult times as if they are normal moments, this makes the normal and special ones even more fantastic.

I used some leather I had bought last week to make a new strap got my watch. The old strap had barely fit because of course feminine styled 14mm bands max out at a length something like 180mm and I have large wrists even among guys.

So I'm happy to have a watch that's both pretty and actually fits now.

I haven't had a checking account in years. Last week I broke down and opened one at a new bank. I was in there once or twice for Randi but before last week I hadn't really talked to anyone. When do opened it last week the VP commented that she had seen me in there a few times. When I went in today they ALL greeted me by name! Amazing!
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I think this made me happy, but I dunno...  lol

Clerk refused my ID and fetched two managers to ease her concern.

All I did was shave.. honest!

Two weeks ago my client went to his father's at Cape Cod. Last week, after he got back, it was impossible to get him to work. From past experience I expected more of the same, especially as he's going there again in a few weeks. Instead he was as good as he's ever been. Lots of work still ahead of us, but he's on board with it!

I had my first "Ahhhhh, the girls are free" moment after wearing a proper bra all day yesterday.

I had my first meeting today with 2nd therapist, the one who will hopefully be providing the required 2nd letter for surgery.

I liked her and it's good to be speaking with someone who's already conversant in the details of gender variance. I like my main shrink betterer but also have to say vive la difference, more approaches can hardly be a bad thing :-).

It's probably just a psyche, [one of my favorite terms], but I get a real rush after 'applying' my progesterone. I can't explain it, but I feel great for hours after wards. :icon_bunch:     And sweet dreams too! hehe... That makes me very happy...

Ok, not as depressed, but still working on it.

My wife and I had our lesbian neighbours over for dessert last night.  We had a great time.  For the first time ever, I got to be just one of the girls.  It felt great!   :D

Made a very special piece of art yesterday, glad for that and I swam after, not long but being in the water helped work out kinks from a long day working and stress because the stakes were high -- I was using materials that are a new idea and expensive.

It's pleasing that my swim times haven't changed in spite of 6 years of not swimming. I'm attributing that to body fat having redistributed into my legs, making a bit more buoyancy where it counts.

I spent most of the swim time thinking about how good it's going to feel to be wearing a tank suit, tho I enjoy the swimming, having all that junk and my nearing - B breasts uncovered feels pretty off.
