I've been in a new relationship since Wednesday, the 5th ^___^ She's a lesbian and is totally cool with me being a pre-op transgender girl. We have so much in common, fit together like a puzzle and she's so wonderful! I love her so much!!!! *is floating on cloud9*

Lately I tend to see myself as a trans girl in my dreams, which is OK because dreams are the last refuge of doubt. But last night I first dreamed I was either Supergirl or Power girl (comics geek) then it morphed into me being a Spanish queen. What a great dream! Not just a trans woman, but a woman, full stop!
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Finally got around to telling my kids that I'm transgender. It didn't turn out as I thought, but it went well. It may take them a while to fully accept that I won't be "dad" anymore, but perhaps "mom number 2". Love those little guys. :)

This was the long and hard thoughtful coming out for me...my kids.  They are adults now, so it really did not matter how they actually reacted, but I wanted them to me ok.

My youngest said she cannot really picture me a "mom's mom", so she has a nickname for me, "Mada".  My oldest simply said, "yeah...I kind of already knew but never bothered to say anything".  Overall, they are fine with it now.

Had a great Pride in Oceanside this year and while it was long, I am way happy that our tribute booth was a success!

I'm having a great day in spite of my family chaos. (I'm probably too self involved, but after 50 years of being my lowest priority maybe I deserve a turn at the front of the line.)

I had an electrolysis appointment this morning and as usual got there a half hour early to relax and get my head in a calm state. Oops. My records were an hour off so I was half an hour late.  Still, many more hairs are gone so I'm happy.

Next, off to Target to look for a cheap toaster. My old one died this morning. I can't live without my morning toast.

Then to Harbor Freight to get some furniture sliders. I need to move some stuff around and for some reason don't have the upper body strength I used to. [emoji3]

It's lunchtime so I'm in a Panera Breads having my usual Thai salad (small) and iced tea. Yum!

Next stop is the Vets to get prescription cat food for the weird cat [emoji192].

I'm having a nice day being myself. No weirdness, no Sirs, just another nice day.

I'm happy [emoji4].

Michelle, it is good to hear you getting in a good day for a change. You have been having more than your fair share of tough times, thanks for sharing your up times with us. Isn't it great to have a really simple day, just the way it should work out. - Anne

What makes me happy now is the thought that soon these happy days will be my every day!  I look forward to the new adventure of the rest of my life now.

Just the thought has me smiling now.   :)   Hey, doc, does this mean I'm getting better?

I Am Jess

That was the hardest for me too. Mine have handled it well. Congrats on a good pride.

Today I'm happy that I have a job to go to after getting a 3 day weekend.

I now have an appointment for my initial hormone consultation. In two weeks I will hopefully be on my way to HRT!

Way to go girl! That is a major step along your path!

Today what made me happy was finding my favorite moisturizer at the drug store, going 3.5 miles on the elliptical in 50 minutes, stretching, and making breakfast for my mom (who is currently disabled).

And, it's another bonus day. :)

What you look forward to has already come, but you do not recognize it.

I just got back from my second 'good' walk of the day. My partner and I did our usual loop in speed walk style! I really need to do more road work as I have gained at least ten pounds since the spring. Just not enough activity. My goal for the next year is to do something every day. This will be helped when we get home to our winter place and I can play tennis every day if I want! Only a week to  go!

I just got confirmation from my therapist that she has sent off my HRT letter.  Woo-hoo!  So tomorrow morning, I'll be phoning to make my first appointment to get the prescription.  That will likely be in a couple of months - waiting list - but it's progress.

I finally got to sit and look at my toes, painted, my nighty flowing, under my silk dressing gown, after our guests left, once I changed (smiling broadly).
12-14 hours a day I must present male, the small moments to be me, keep me sane.
I love life, wish for more at the same time glad I'm breathing. Life is great.

I have now been full time for a couple of months, and last week I had to interview a prospective employee, the first time I had been in such a close discussion with somebody who didn't know me. Following the interview our HR had to ask a couple of additional questions and in the reply I was described as a "lovely lady" which definitely made me happy.

Had a long conversation with my mom, last night. It was one of the most difficult things to do, but I'm glad I got it out to her. Obviously, she's not too thrilled because she doesn't like her baby going through such things, but she knows that I'm doing what I think and feel is right, or rather what I've felt my whole life. She also didn't think I should've told my kids, but, of course, that's up to me because I'm their parent, not her. Either way, we ended on a good note. I love my mom. She's one of my all-time favorite women, if not THE all-time for me, only seconded by my wife. It was well-needed.
