At my current age of 60, if the mini-skirt is more than simply covering my butt I wear them, many times have tights under them so in one sense of the word it's akin to wearing leggings with a top to cover my rear-end.

For those mini-skirts which barely cover my butt, think the last time I wore one was around the age of 40 and that was acceptable when out at night to clubs but not in day to day life. Mini-skirts for day time, I stopped around 30.

One thing I learned around the age of thirty was going to a professional to learn how to pass in public and she pretty much said the main rule of thumb was (besides her recommendations) to conform to how others are dressing in their day to day life at my age. I believe this helped me before transitioning and simply dressing as a female and I passed with zero issues while dressing in mini-skirts and high heels drew up due attention to me.

16, maybe.

I am in my late 30's now, but I do wear very tight shorts in summer. But that is because I don't like skirts.  ;D

Stephanie, you and I are a similar age.  Being a big fan of personal freedoms I simply wear what feels good.  Kinda surprising how many folks want to be the fashion police.  I have and wear minis and usually wear leggings or tights with them.  Our very unique life experiences can allow for us to flex our freedom and if we want to wear a burka, burlap or show off our butt cheeks, please know that is our right.  (in many countries so far)

Do we recall what we wore the day we were born?  Anything wrong with that suit? ;D ;D

Yeah.. I don't wear miniskirts. They make you loo like a slut.

Wow, slut shaming. I suppose if I wear one and get raped, it's my fault..

I stayed in a hotel last night in the downtown area  across the street from a big University. I was sitting in the lobby and there is some kind of business meeting going on and this tall blonde in her 50's walked by in a mini and opaque stockings or leggings.

At 70 I would look really stupid in a miniskirt.  I live in jeans much of the time but when I wear a skirt its usually a maxi or a midi.  Knee length is as short at anything in my closet.

Miniskirts are strictly for women who are much younger than me.  The few exceptions are for highly paid models and actresses.  Christie Brinkley can look great in a mid-thigh length skirt - and she is in her 60s.

Of course many things depend on your definition of miniskirt.  Those that are so short that butt cheeks are visible are unsuited to anything but a swinger club.  That goes for short-shorts too.  Unless you are as advertising and don't care whose attention you attract of course.

Ok, Now this is way to short no matter what your age is! Yikes!!

Yikes. The photo was taken in my country, S. Korea. I know it by the public buses.

Yes. Miniskirts are very popular here, but long pants and jeans are more popular among women regardless of age. At home, my wife and daughter do not wear miniskirt, not to mention skirt in general. I am the only one wearing miniskirt nearly everyday. Yes. most girl students at my university do not wear miniskirts, and it is just a trend. In summer, many girl students wear miniskirt.  And, I easily become the only person wearing miniskirt in the class I teach. I am 52 years old. My friends frequently recommend me to wear knee-high pencil skirt, but I prefer miniskirt.

I'd say 13.  Leave a little bit to the imagination.  Modesty is sexy... Just look at Audrey Hepburn.  Sex Pot!
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

I would love to look good enough to be able to pull off a mini skirt, being that I've just started my journey here, I feel ridiculous wearing any skirts outside the bedroom.

I'm 68 years old. I still wear mini skirts. See my avitar.
When we first start our journey the perception and moral values all dramatically change in wonderment. As we evolve further it all becomes normal again but the journey has changed us forever.

Yes. You look great. I am now sure that there is no age limitation in wearing mini skirt.
