Thanks Floof! That's very sweet!  :)

My sister just mailed me and insisted that she wanted to drive me on the 200mile round trip to the gender clinic.
No arguments, no buts, no excuses, she wants to be there for me as I begin my transition.
It was such a wonderful gesture of acceptance.

The inlaws started calling me by my new name without even asking or directly telling them what it is. Yay for Facebook. Now if they could only start with the pronouns...

That is awesome!  Yea, the pronouns ...argh!

Denise

My sister, after flying 16 hours from Hong Kong, totally jet lag'd today has called me Dee or Denise and has not screwed up once all day.  Introductions to new people and a lot of other times.  She's awesome.  I'm glad I'm taking her to a nice dinner tonight for Valentine's day.

Seeing a couple of the gals on this forum taking some real, positive steps in their lives. I'm so happy for them!

Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Working tonight, from 8pm to... finish (2am? 5am?). Happy because it's well paid and I'm aggresively saving for surgeries. Also, bought another half bitcoin.

Today I had a long, beautiful, peaceful drive to see my endocrinologist who upped my estradiol by 50% after asking, "are you sure? Your breasts will get bigger if you do."

Yes please, Dr. Leinung!
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Actually sleeping in my own bed.  While the hotel for the last 10 days was very swank, there is something to be said for curling up in your own cozy bed. :)

Valentine's dinner, duck breast with a sauce of bitter orange, artichokes and a lemon cake for dessert.

Also a good session with my therapist this morning.

Going to work at my friends store today really made me happy. Then the cherry on top was spending time with my boyfriend and cuddling. Today was a really great day. I love Valentine's Day.

I've been sitting on letter for a couple weeks for my coming out on social media. Last night after a little liquid courage, I posted the letter. I also changed my name and uploaded a new photo.

The out pouring of love and support was so over whelming. I cried so much last night. So many tears of joy and relief. I'm such a happy girl

Thanks! I knit the scarf myself. I needed a quick project and I love how it turned out.

I woke up and when I got online I ordered the pair of black heels I decided I didn't need last night. ;D

First appt with my new Electrolysis Tech..

She. Is. Awesome.

She pretty much full cleared my face in the hour appointment, shes cheaper, and she didnt MURDER my skin deliberately. I pretty much have about as much irritation as I did from 15 minutes with the last one! *giddy*

Most important of all, I CAN BOOK APPOINTMENTS TO MEET *MY* SCHEDULE AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND!

Seriously, I had to shake like a dog to remove all the hairs, I've never seen anything like it, she was like a LAWNMOWER.

I was included. Omg I can't believe how happy it makes me.
Ok, so this makes sense.
I work at a bar/restaurant and I do delivery. Well, one of the employees has a band and it was his birthday this week, so he is having a party and his band is playing. His sister and I both have to work that night normally and Saturday is impossible to get covered, but we both managed to get somebody to do it.
So.., now the good part, she invited me to come over to do our hair and stuff that morning and I'm finally going to get to wear the dress I got for Christmas. I've so wanted a reason to wear this. (->-bleeped-<-, I just remembered that I don't have any jewelry to go with it.
Anyway
Such a little, normal thing has totally made my night ❤️❤️
God I love the people of this city. It's so much more excepting than where I came from
