I told yesterday a very old friend about my transition. I phoned him, and told him I have an important news for you. He answered back "did you become a grand father?" I said no so continued with the second question "Have you changed Gender?" I answered Yes. then he told "That was a joke!" He was very happy for me and he told me he was not surprised. Love him.

Have a nice day
I am a transgender woman, I have been this way all my life. I was filled with guilt at a very young age, a victim of a society that did not understand what it means to be free and yourself. I tried to adapt and flee from my real self by being a workaholic, eating, drinking and doing all in extremes.
Do we have to do the same now to transgender kids? Do they have to suffer all their lives? What about giving them a chance to live like normal people and be happy?
Help to protect transgender kids from bullies, transphobia and hate. Give them a chance.

Got my very first tattoo yesterday afternoon <3 It's one I've wanted for a very VERY long time, and now it's mine. Designed it myself, and my brother drew it up on his computer. Like most things, I slept through most of it. (Aside from making silly faces at my girlfriend across the parlor XP) There was very little in the way of pain, just a HOT sensation and vibration on the tattoo site from the gun. The artist was super nice too, we got to chit chatting about REPO! the Genetic Opera, and music/concerts.

I think we found a new apartment today unless we think better of it before we sign the lease. It's in a nearby toney historical district. The nearest neighbors are a trolley museum, a maritime museum, several good restaurants and a gallery!
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

Went shopping, and the sales people were so nice to me. Small things matter.

Yesterday I had a great day in the Pride in Lake Worth FL. In the morning we paraded with all my local family. In the afternoon I was volunteering with th Compass GGC, the official Palm Beach district LGBT support.

You mean oysters can be had some place other than Oregon? Never had an oyster po boy though, Nor have I had a Turbodog. (a beer or ale isn't it?)  We have a Ma's restaurant up here but probably not the same as yours..  Methinks thou liveth in a strange place. LOL
Just glad you've got a roof over your head.

Finishing another two 2 hour long electrolysis sessions.  The sessions didn't make me happy; the final results did.

My upper and lower lip, chin, and left cheek from jawline to top of the ear are completely clear, and the right cheek is clear to the bottom of the ear.  I'm so happy right now I keep crying a bit from joy, and keep touching my face.  It's tender but smooth.

And then "Wings" by Jeff Williams comes on:
"One life is not a long time; when you're waiting for a small sign..."

Time for a little wine and dark chocolate, I think.
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.
Electrolysis - Hours in The Chair: 238 (8.5 were preparing for GCS, five clearings); On estradiol patch June 2016; Full-time Oct 22, 2016; GCS Oct 20, 2017; FFS Aug 28, 2018; Stage 2 labiaplasty revision and BA Feb 26, 2019

I Am Jess

I have been texting with a man I met on a dating site and tonight we met for drinks and dinner. It was a very enjoyable evening. We talked about our families, our jobs and lives. He was funny and very interesting. He laughed at all of my jokes and said he was having a great time. At the end of the evening he paid for dinner. He asked me out again for Friday night and I am looking forward to going out again. 😃

Michelle....Oh hell yes I can relate to the electrolysis....

I just finish having my Neck cleared and my left cheek. We spent most of the time on the cheek but she kept going and doing work on area under my jaw line

It feels great...a bit bumpy but smooth......it makes all the pain and discomfort worth while....I haven't shaved my next for 4 days as I wanted her to deal with anything left and she counted 30 hairs apart from some regrowth  that after 4 days was still not long enough for her to work with...yahoo!!!!! It a great feeling to finally get that progress...congrats for you, it feels just great!!

It wasn't today per-se, but me and the girlfriend went shopping last night and I wore my new black stretch pants to the store.

Little steps, but I cant go "too far" in this town.

"Ma" was a mistype, it was supposed to me "a". Turbodog is a beer, yes, and oyster poboy is a sandwich of fried oysters with remoulade. Cajun/Creole food. A strange and wonderful place, sadly with too much snow.
