Only problem is you do not see this message unless you scroll down a little. scrolling down further gives you the opportunity to hit post a second time and then your post will go through.

  You just need to train yourself to scroll down a little to check for that message after you hit post.

Congratulations, Michaela!  What a grand event.  Time to celebrate!


What made me happy today?
1) My therapist.  Great ideas to deal with my sleep problems!
2) Sateen sheets.  ☺️

Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Today I wore my charm bracelet with a sparkly 'K' charm for the first time. I wore it to my university's bioscience society AGM, including elections for next year's committee. I will be on the committee again this year, as Secretary this time, which is nice! Mostly though, wearing my charm bracelet made me happy. It might seem like a really petty thing but I am entirely in the closet, and that sparkly little K made me feel like I could express myself at least a little bit :)

My wife and I visited our favourite second-hand clothing store today.  The lady behind the counter knows me in my male disguise, and knows that I am trans and am building up my wardrobe.  When we entered the store with me presenting as myself, she recognized my wife right away, but had no idea who I was.  It took her a full minute to realize that I was me.   ;D

I could dress as female for the first time in, like, 6 weeks.

Staff at the dentist are so nice, they call me by my not-yet-legal name and use female pronouns. Plus, the periodontist gave me good news today, my mouth is improving.

I was called ma'am twice at walmart today. That's a first for me. Usually people say sir to me, which I absolutely hate. But at least it's starting to change for me. ;D ;D ;D

Isn't it amazing how people can make us happy by something totally normal to them and they don't even realize what they did. I remember well those early days of my transition when somebody ma'amed me, you might slowly get used to it but the sense of realness never goes away.

OK so im not crazy about that top. Just trying on some blouses my mom gave me a while back. :D

Today I secured two very important appointments:

1) June 30 will be my very first consultation with Dr. Bart van de Ven, in Antwerpen, Belgium, to discuss my needs in terms of FFS.

2) August 10-12 will be my hair transplantion (FUE, 6000 grafts) at the HairPalace Clinic, in Budapest, Hungary.

Slowly but surely becoming who I really am...  :icon_chick:

Found out that the where I go to for being transgender offers Adams apple reduction and voice feminaztion surgery and from what I understand this is even covered by my insurance (not 100% sure though about the insurance part but im fairly certain)

Came out to one of my cousins. Things are going faster than I'd like and it had to be on the phone rather than f2f but it was positive and he was accepting. I wasn't expecting anything less from him anyway. We'll meet in two weeks' time and I guess we'll be able to talk deeper.

Lots of people know about me already, and I am yet to find a rejection. I kinda feel bad for all those people out there who find themselves suddenly isolated because no one would accept them :/
