Not trans related but I'm happy that work was over and I didn't tell my boss off for giving me more ridiculous projects that cannot be done because our software is one step above completely non-functioning.

Looks like it's not your fault. If so, don't worry! I've learned to stop caring about the lack of competence and focus by the people Up There. I can deliver good stuff, but if asked sh*t, I can also deliver good sh*t. I get paid nevertheless.

What made me happy today, well working from home :)

I HIT MY GOAL WEIGHT!!!

I'm down almost 21 pounds since I started HRT back in March. I'm down 2 jeans sizes and 3 dress sizes since then.  Nice healthy BMI of 21, I'm super excited!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESS!!!! I hit the 56 mark about three weeks ago... Just a number!!! :)

That's what all the 20 somethings say when they hit on me on the dating sites, usually followed up with "you're what 35."   lol

Thank you everyone for the birthday wishes. It was a fantastic day!!!

OMG I had a lot of good things happen to me today that made me happy:

  • I went to the OB/GYN and she doubled my dosage putting me in-line with the clinical guides!
  • I went shopping for new jeans today and bought my first ever pair of size 3 jeans!!
  • I had 3 different women compliment me on my shoes, 2 of them told me they wished they could wear "sexy shoes" like them, including the phlebotomist

However the one I like the most I just noticed a little while ago.  My health group like most out there uses Epic and have the MyChart web interface.  So tonight I logged in to get the results of my bloodwork and noticed the system now greets me with "Hello Alyssa J <last-name>".  How freakin' cool is that?!?!?

BTW, if anyone is interested, these are the shoes I wore today that got all the attention:

Got my name and gender legally changed!!!

Congratulations! I've got the paperwork ready to file  - I'm not sure why I haven't started the process.

I realized today that I don't think about my gender anymore.  Sure I think about all the trans-related stuff but the little voice saying "you should be a girl" have totally vanished and it HAS NOT been replaced by an evil twin.

My mother-in-law, a supportive person who's always been straightforward with me, said, "You know, you look much more like a girl than a boy now."  Her way of saying my social transition is progressing, and my presence is more feminine than not.

Then, at the coffee klatch after UU church services, a friend told me that she admired my wardrobe choice, a tan-pink drape 3/4 sleeve t-top and matching wide-leg pant with a beige closed toe sandal.  She also said that I seem much more feminine than when I first started going there last November.  Wow!

On top of that, I tried on a new dress off the sale rack, and saw a woman in the mirror, not the formerly inevitable DIAD.

Nothing like a day of affirmation!
Earth my body, water my blood, air my breath and fire my spirit.

My personal transition path included medical changes.  The path others take may require no medical intervention, or different care.  We each find our own path. I provide these dates for the curious.

Yesterday it was my birthday, and it was amazing, first time any of my cousin's and Aunt or Granny seen me as a girl.
It was really great, I was even great by the guys as a girl.
This was how I was dressed

I was afraid ther may be an awkward air, but it was super chill. The air was probably even more chill than usual, I was more relaxed as a girl.
My GF made an amazing cake for me, I had no Idea, she spent like two days making this while I played Xbox lol

It was the best day ever, best birthday ever I can't believe my luck when it comes to my family, (my granny is 90 and accepting)

And to top all that I had my next appointment with the endocrinologist today early in the morning, health is perfect and my T has been at 0 from the very start, I have never needed a bigger dose.
She will also contact my SRS surgeon to talk with him about my plans. She knows him too.
They all called me she too. I do these activities as a girl now, I am so happy.
I just had to share this.
