While it was just a little thing, it meant a ton to me.  I went out today with my nails polished and wearing my women's jeans, and T-shirt.  I wore a pair of sandals.  No one batted an eye at the nail polish.

Sadly, I was still sir'd though. :(

Probably because of the lack of makeup.  Maybe next week I will go with makeup on.

I'm not taking it off today either, going to wear it to work tomorrow.

Awesome!  Well done lovely woman. I'm proud of you.

I Am Jess

I am now at the lowest weight I've been since I started my transition.  Slow and steady progress for this gal.  I am about halfway to my goal weight.  It's been a combination of diet and exercise that has got me this far.  I have been pretty dedicated to trying to get in at least a 3 mile run every day as well as walking over 23,000 steps a day.  I've tried to limit my calorie intake to 1,500-1,600 calories a day.  So far I am down 25 pounds since the end of May!

I have had a blog written about me, and the place i work, for pride. Definitely made me happy, but its making me sad because I want to share it, and don't know how or were.

Randi made a post about our vacation last night and for the first time called me "she" on Facebook!

:

April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!

Jess, Congratulations!  Slow and steady is the correct way.

In the mid 1990s my weight was out of control.  At age 32 I weighed 238 pounds (108kg) and was adding 10 pounds per year (I am 5'7" / 170cm).  I started running, and during a year reached 3 miles each run and kept it there.  After a couple years my pace settled in at 21 minutes for 3 miles after losing 80 pounds (32kg) and keeping it off.  My waistline is now 16 inches (40cm) smaller and has been for 20 years.  So Jess - I know how rewarding but difficult your achievement is.

Good Job!  That is a lot of weight.  I am lucky to lose 10lbs a month.

Nothing.  That may sound terrible, but nothing needs to make me happy in a day-to-day basis anymore.  I'm Denise and that's the way it is.

Oh one other thing I've decided, unless my 3:00 appointment runs long, to file name change on Monday.  This living in a dual world out full time but id saying (dead name) is starting to get complicated.

:D happy to still be alive , thanfull for another day with the sun on my face and the wind in my hair. Things can allways be worse. And happy that I have hips and a cup boobs, I do have to admit that when some republican minded folks give me dirty looks, it puts a smile on my face , because the fact that I'm different bothers them. It's good to be free.:-) It don't brother me that I will never just blend in , stand at 6 2. And have lots of scars.

It was nice to sit up in bed early this morning and look down at these perky (well, I wear mostly B-cup bras - snugly) C-cups and newly-fatty hips (I sleep naked) and see the body of the shapely female that I have dreamed of being for over 30 years. Kinda stressful though. I have to quickly worry about what to wear to hide these girls and keep everyone's mind on business at work. It's getting tougher every day. Still, good to be alive and not so sadly depressed every single day like I used to be. Depressed only sometimes now...

For me as odd as it sounds getting my nails done. They aren't as long as I would like but heck it works for now. They at  subtle French tips with a nice gloss - I love gel nails. I would truly love to have them painted the same colors as my toes but that will come in time. I guess you can say it was also having the confidence to say eff it this is who I be and I am not going to worry about it.
