I wrote my title as it is. My mom says she is OK with the whole transition thing, but sometimes she acts out like gets
mad at me for no reason. Like today I found 10 dollars in change and went to the dollarstore and bought some coffee and she got really mad because I do owe money on my credit card... but when world of warcraft charged me the other day by an accident she was not mad and said "oh well add it onto the other stuff". So I feel she is keeping it inside that she is upset over it and doesn't say anything I see her crying sometimes by herself. That or she has her own stuff I don't know how to tell. She has been supportive but doesn't call me Max as much as my old name. She said "As Long as your happy" and even said I am starting to look like a boy so she is supportive. Anyway might bring this up to my therapist too.

I'm having trouble with my parents too. I think that maybe when she gets mad, she's really mad at herself for having trouble accepting you. Either way, it's a positive sign that she's using Max at all - it'll be a while before my mother deigns to use my new name!

But yeah, do bring it up with your therapist too ^_^
