As soon as I can I plan to start Death Staring my face, and have begun heavier research into options in my vicinity. But comparing the costs at the local and semi-local places, they seem absurdly expensive compared to the averages I find on many other sites. The only one that is on Groupon is a good drive away (which hinges on me getting transport), and looks like it'd be around $400-$600 for the first 3 sessions if I'm reading this right, but full price after(which is 4 times that). (They have no full face options on group, and so looks like I'd have to 1) buy two small areas for chin and lip, then 1 medium area for cheeks and 1 medium for neck, which are $100 and $200 apiece respectively, or 2) buy a large area for full face depending on what their policies are, the fine print is unhelpful.) Other places closer to me are the same or higher full price with no obvious discounting options, and some questionable online reviews. (The place on groupon actually seems to be well regarded.)
So what I'm wondering is, what did everyone else wind up paying for laser on beard area? I am having to be very cost effective at the moment, and this is my big concern on that front. Basically, I need to know I am getting a decent deal before I can justify even an expense as important as this.
(My financial logistics are sketchy, as I am not working while attending school and living off of a quickly dwindling modest inheritance. Which I still have another semester of school full time, then am still going until Spring 2019 for cleaning up stray courses with potentially another year depending on if I am accepted into a master's program that will pay off big long term. In theory I could work while doing the part time schooling, but that risks medicaid I'm relying on to pay for extremely expensive medicines I require, so have to more or less figure out to make progress transitioning while not starving to death.

If I can get some collectibles sold I have a bit more wiggle room on stuff like hair removal costs, but that is a big if, though dealing more heavily with that is something I can actually do while stuck with part time classes without screwing anything else up.)
