You pour liquid oxygen over the charcoal briquets.  The flask containing the liquid oxygen needs to be on a very long pole, with you as far away as you can get!  As far as I can tell from the videos, you don't even need a source of ignition: it seems to ignite itself.  The barbecue ends up as a puddle of molten steel.   

You should have some knowledge and experience when approaching any "How to" videos or other publications. I've saw a few for my own repairs and I had no problem. However, those dare videos handling dangerous materials not good for those who want to try these at home, especially the kids! In the Navy in the early 1970's, we saw a safety flick about liquid oxygen (LOX). It was of course, aimed at young male sailors.

The Mentos thing has me thinking.....always a dangerous proposition. 

I'm going to drop one of my E tablets in a soda and immediately put my mouth over it. I figure I should be estrogenated all the way to my toes.

haha, I bet it would work too! Are they the everwhatitsthingies that fiz and dissolve? My old boss tried that with some dissolving pain killers, he thought you had to swallow then so he placed them in his mouth and tried washing them down with lemonade! It was hilarious, what was he thinking, they were massive tablets and he was foaming uncontrollably at the mouth.

I've not done that, but I've come pretty close. I forgot to take off one of my blade guards before stepping out onto the ice. The first stride was with the bare skate the second with the guard still on, ended in the predicable manner, with me on my back wondering what had just happened and everyone one on the bench laughing their heads off.
