My next appointment is coming up on the 5th. After years and years of bad healthcare experiences ranging from forced conversion therapy as a teen, to general malpractice in North Idaho, my upcoming third attempt at starting gender affirming hormone therapy in two different informed consent clinics has me very anxious.
Part of me knows my anxiety is just in my head based on past experiences. This will be my second first attempt at even getting lab work done at the nearest planned parenthood in Spokane Washington. After talking with a supervisor, I was told things would be handled properly this next time with a different provider. I'm trusting that will be the case.
Definitely going to have elevated blood pressure when it's checked. It should all work out well, but I'm crossing my fingers. After working at this so long, I really need some forward movement.
I'm hoping to share some good news for a change!
