Sorry it's been a while everyone, so much has happened:

1. Quit the job that was stressing me out/wrecking my health and took on the part time delivery job, I actually like it and get decent pay

2. Set up my own animation webpage and a new showreel, aggressively chasing clients for work

3. Since Im part time, I'm going to be spending time pursuing my art and creative career plans.

Drafting my resignation letter.

@Colleen_definitely
Dear Colleen:
****So, what are your plans to give that letter to your bosses???

In my previous male-mode executive job before I came to my small town to start my own woman owned business.  I had gotten so tired of the corporate politics and stress that I had carried my resignation letter in my suit pocket for almost 6 months.

Whenever the higher ups started getting to me I would always put my hand on the envelope in my pocket... that made me feel much better.   I had a very good friend/co-worker that knew about my letter in my pocket and he would come over to me and pat my suit pocket with his hand where I kept the letter and we both would smile.

Finally right before I came out full time I quit that job and then relocated here where I am now.... never had to pull out that letter in anger but it sure was a good feeling to carry it around.

Hugs,
Danielle

@Alaskan Danielle
I had a really stressful day the last week and sent the email in.  Well perhaps less stressful in the classical sense and more chocked full of the things that I think are rotting this company from within.

So far my boss and his boss have both called trying to get me to stay.  I'm sick of the "revenue at any costs, so what if we can't deliver?" attitude that has taken over here and I let them know how I felt.

I gave them until the end of November so that way if they don't bother hiring a replacement or give me time to train someone to take over for the stuff I specialize in, it's on them.

Had a call from my HRT Doc please increase your Oestrogen and repeat the bloods in 6 weeks we may have to adjust up again...this finally confirms to me with out a doubt, that when my Oestrogen levels drop it severely impacts a couple of area's...one of those impacted being my mood!!

I booked in for my permanent face hair removal consultation for tomorrow - I'm so excited!!

And when I was at the supermarket today was wearing girls t-shirt, black skinny jeans, black sneakers, no makeup or anything, the checkout lady who glanced over at me very quickly said "How are you today Madame?"......to which I replied "Fabulous"  she looked up and with a longer glance said "Oh sorry I thought you were a woman with your longer hair and (muffled - couldn't make it out)" so I said "Oh that is absolutely fine!" ---made my day   ;)  This is the first time I have been gendered female and I haven't started hrt yet! OMG I was buzzing for hours!! still am... ;)

Super!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

@Sonja
Dear Sonja:

Well, a gender "mistake" from a stranger like can be quite assuring since you have not started HRT yet.
This validates the fact that there is much more to passing than just HRT....
...all the things that you are presently doing are going to go a long way into helping you to pass reliable one the magic potion gets into your veins.

Thanks for your happy posting.   I can just about hear you buzzing!!
Hugs,
Danielle

@jaybutterfly
Yes indeed, this is very good news, getting a job in your desired field makes the work that much more enjoyable.
There is an old saying ....
    "If a person has a job that they love then they will never work a day in their life."

Thank you for sharing this good news about yourself.
Best wishes to you,
Danielle

CONGRATS!!!! That's awesome, I remember the first time this happened for me, and with similar circumstances. <3 <3 <3 I was in disbelief for a few days. lol Enjoy it! It only gets better as it happens more and you pass. I'm happy for you, girl!

Your hairstyle looks great on you, btw, I hope that's alright to say. :)

Thanks girls,  I was buzzing for a few days, still puts a smile on my face. My hair is growing out and I really need a slight trim to get it under control but its obviously working very well even at this length! so I would say to others out there it doesn't need to be very long to bet a nice feminine curl and look to it.

Danielle - did you get my pm with the photos of me and my s.o.?
Also why do the 'mentions' not work sometimes??

Take care,

Sonja.

Alchemy was a blast. It's like Burning Man, only smaller. But holy crap was it fun. I stayed away from the hard drugs and only got drunk once, but I think next year I'll try to be less sober. (referring, of course, to alcohol only. Illicit drugs don't interest me)

But yeah, I highly recommend going to your local burn. Such a great environment. It's hard to describe.

I was walking down the street and a landscaper pulled over and asked if I knew where some street was. I said "I sure don't, I'm from America." We both laughed, and he said "All right then, sweetheart, you have a nice day."
