Hello, when I put my foundation on rub it in, then my blush I feel I'm missing something.  I bought highlighter because I watched a video on how to create shadows. When I'm done with what I know my foundation  looks like a mask. I thought it was supposed to be a type of cover up but for me I feel it magnifies thing I'm trying to hide. Is there a powder or something that should go on last? Thank you I'm lost

I usually put setting powder on top of the foundation.   First make sure that you have a foundation and powder that matches your complexion.   You could do this by going to a cosmetic counter in a department store or a MAC, Sephora, or an Ulta store. Sometimes they will even show you how to apply it.

In addition to the Makeup sub-forum there also is a forum for general beauty ideas...
that forum deals with all things related to beauty.

Here is the Link for Beauty

Have a great time looking over all the information there.

Hi Megan,

Here is a link to Wayne Goss on youtube, IMO he is one of the best makeup artists AND I find him very easy to understand compared to others who often skip steps and don't explain themselves very well.  He also has a very large collection of videos to go through. There are quite a number that go through tips and tricks for applying foundation properly.  at 3.4 million subscribers - you know he's the real deal.

Enjoy,

Sonja.
