So I know title it kind of throws it off a little bit but I want to talk about products to hold your hair up in place that are not liquids or sprays....

So we're talkin hair bands hair ties bandanas even those cute little scarf things that go on your head let's talk scrunchies ladies..!!

And while I want some advice for my own hair I am quite sure that there are other ladies on this form that would like advice as well on their hair and what they can use to hold it in place or hold it how they want it held....

Here I include a picture of my hair on a bad day yes I did brush it but still a bad day for my hair which is everyday for my hair..!!

Call me very old-fashioned, but I'm a huge fan of hard headbands if you have at least shoulder-length hair. Not the most comfortable, but they sure work for keeping everything in place.

When I spin and ruck I wear a band. I have ties but my front hair is a foot and a little short for ties.

Hi Arianna,
Have you tried the head wraps ? wide wraps made of material or even a cute scarf tied up under your hair. Combs might work, they were around in the 80's .  You can put your hair in a bun using bobby pins,or hold it back using barrettes. what about braiding or twisting your hair up and pinning it like an updo. Always carry a PEN in my purse. IT is good for more than one thing. One of them is to put my hair up. IF you need to know how that works look on youtube for directions on using a stick to put your hair it. Very easy.........

You can see how long my hair is in my profile pic,

I just use a scrunchy and a pony tail to keep my long hair out of my work, otherwise I just let it be natural and blow in the wind 😊🌪

I used the covered rubber bands but was losing too much hair so I changed to the thicker, but less elastic bands to make a ponytail.  I do like bandana's

Those are the ones I like, the fabric covered ones that don't damaged your hair 😊

I used to use the cloth covered bands when I was younger and my hair was thicker. Age brought on too much thinning for the bands to stay in unless I twisted them four or five times....an uncomfortable nuisance. I now use clips on the sides, three of them to hold my hair back. The clips I use are metal ones with soft rubbery bumps to keep them from sliding out. My other option is to twist my hair and put it up with a larger plastic clip when exercising or out riding my scooter. I will often wear a head scarf tied at the back along with the hair clipped up when on longer scooter rides (highway speeds can really knot up long hair).

My hair's getting a bit on the thinner side, too, these days. I recently picked up this gadget on Amazon and it works surprisingly well. It just kind of soft silicon bottle stopper with ridges to keep the holder snug. Sometimes it's tricky to make sure it doesn't show, but if you use a wide elastic that wraps all around it, it's fine. What I like most about it is that I can do a high pony and it will stay in place well rather than slip down as it usually does without.

Have you tried a "non-slip" headband? They are available in many styles from wide to thin.

I'm assuming you're talking about this one and the problem I have with them is the elastic thing keeps breaking that holds it together at the bottom and this is the other one I try but it really does not have the desired effect

I've found bandanas to be the most versatile. Wear them any way you like. They're cheap and easy to clean. They've become my signature style...

Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. I am not as stylish with bandanas sorry I'm not quite sure how to wear one and still maintain the feminine look that I desire

See a lot of girls wearing bandanas at bike shows, meets & open nights. I got a few of the multi purpose ones but I usually use them as face/neck coverings when riding my bike. or to tie my hair back

I have a wide range of bandanas that I use either working out or when riding my scooter. They are great to keep my hair from getting all knotted or tangled while riding. Plus I kind of like the addition to the biker chic (or bitch depending upon my mood) look.
