Went out looking for a black pencil skirt.  Haven't found that I like yet.

Update on the first appointment with the speech pathologist.

She was very nice and welcoming. She said she had been a speech pathologist for over 24 years and has never had a transgender client. She said she was going to have to do some research and educate herself before she is able to schedule any more appointments.   She asked me if I knew of any YouTube videos that she could reference. 

I dont know how to take this.......In my head I was like......seriously, I could watch youtube videos myself,...why do I need you?   The appointment was on Wednesday. She said she would call me back on Friday.   Well its now 5:30pm on Friday and I have not received a call back.     Hmmmmm

Kinda feeling discouraged.
More discouraged that I have been on HRT for over 2 months and I am not seeing ANY changes.     

Update  26 FEB 2019     Today was a great day. Went to two appointments and purchaed a new bag to go with my outfit.   Shopping sure lifts a girls spirits!!!

Another shopping trip!!!   Yes indeed, shopping therapy really does lift a girl's spirit.
I guess that you never did find a Pencil Skirt that you liked but I really like your new outfit shown in the photo that you just posted...
...  new dress pants and a new dress jacket... (or is that the outfit you pictured on your February 7th update?)   No matter, it does look very nice on you.
and a new manicure (you have lovely hands) and a new handbag.

Curious question... were you able to find a new and qualified speech therapist that doesn't have to ask you about speech therapy YouTube videos like your previous speech therapist did???

Thank You.   Yes this is the same outfit from February,  just added a new handbag.  I ended up ordering a skirt for the outfit online......but it hasn't come in yet...(did you see the Amazon plane that crashed in Houston on Saturday?  My package was on there.......so they are shipping me another one now)

I was referred to an new speech therapist at Baylor College of Medicine. No appointment yet. But I did call and speak with them and this isn't their first rodeo.    So I feel much better about this.  Like they say Two steps forward One step back.....

My sister in law bought me two new pairs of shoes......im going to pick them up from her on Thursday so sty tuned for some "sexy heels" as she says,,,,
