Got my hormone blood test results today!  I am a woman!  Even the computer compared me to a natal female!
And the values are pretty good!

Linde,

That is very good news!  Congratulations!

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Well, several days ago, but midterms pushed everything behind.

I received the physical proof of my associate degree in psychology.  I got headhunted and will be starting a new job on the 15th working with 6-21 year old's with personal issues.  None were mentioned to be transgender, but they did mention autistic and survivors of sexual assault.  The latter being one of the two focuses I want to pursue when working for my doctorate.  Take it in stride Claire, Bachelor's degree first.

I dislike when happys appear to get lost in the crowd of other happys. I saw it, I'm happy for you.  :) It's a good feeling to not only be wanted, also to find employment in what you wish to do. I sincerely wish the best outcome for you.
I left the door open, only a few came through. such is my life.

The vending machine randomly pushed out a bag of popcorn, which I ate.  :)

One year ago I was at the hospital because I mutilated myself. I would have never thought that one year later I would be so happy. My hairs are growing and I am done with wigs. I have stopped all antidepressants since february. I will move in a rented house in the next couple of days with my new girlfriend. I will try to have full custody of my children. I have the best job of my entire career. This is so unreal. All the years that I thought that transitionning would destroy my life... I feel better than ever. Thanks everyone here that I have read in the last 1+ year. You all helped me being where I am today.

Today was the day that was planned to inflict lots of pain to me!
I got electrolysis around my mouth (upper and lower section), I got my eyebrows micro-bladed, and I got my entire genital hair area lasered!  I am bare down there, like a new born baby.  A touch up will be done in 8 weeks, and I will be ready for SRS whenever they want to do on me!

Having someone to text every morning to say "Good Morning!".

I've now been out as a women in public for 11 days since Christmas.  Almost everybody is nice, which at first I put down to genuine kindness and social pressure.  But there is something else:  I'm just a better fit as a woman, and that makes me more...palatable to the world.  It's easier to build and maintain positive relationships; now I have a good friend who I text every day and who makes me smile.

I was invited to a ladies only swimming pool party!  I am considered to be one of them now.

It was the fist time in my life that I wore a female bathing suit.  Don't like it, those things stay wet (and cold) for ever!

That's great Dietlind enjoying other women's company, have fun !

I was out on my exercise and this group of 4 people round the corner, and I hear my name from out of the group at like 25 yards away, I finally recognized her wearing sunglasses as one of my dear neighbors with the friendly geese, and so I had her name at the ready also, she hug's me in front of her "man friend / husband" and their friends, that would have never happened like that 10 years ago, it was an all girl embrace...Everyone else I encountered were very outgoing and friendly, so that made me happy today.

A wonderful day, mid 80's with blue sky.  Just the right day to wear my new outfit I bought for Easter to go to friends for dinner!

Saw Dr Gast at UW Surgery Clinic. She seems quite nice.  Get my letters and insurance approval and then I'll find out when I get to see her again.

Is that the University of Wisconsin, Madison?  Do you know what insurances they take?

Yes Madison. Don't know all insurances but they are in my network with United Healthcare.  Got to bum around State Street with my wife after before it rained.  Pretty good day

I was sworn in as a citizen in the capitol in Madison  But I took a lot of classes at the UoW there, too

I have to check with them about the insurance.

Took a few classes  there too. Passed enough to graduate even.  Had a cyst removed from my ear back when I was in school and they still had my records available. Would have thought them archived by now. Had to give them my name and gender change papers
