It is difficult to really say where I started... did I start as a teenager collecting items of clothing, only to purge, and purge again... or did it start more recently when I couldn't control the dysphoria anymore... in which case, I started by asking my GP to refer me to the Gender Identity Clinic... then on the same day started with shaving from face to toes... then sugar waxing after the ingrown hair nightmare... then epilating after the sugar waxing took the skin off my fingers... then back to shaving the hairs that epilator misses.
Then I started practicing my voice in the car using YouTube videos for help... I find the count to 100 and then countdown again in a Mickey Mouse voice... then as you get into the last 10 dropping the voice slightly while speaking at the front of the mouth works really well. But emphasising my local accent (which is one of those singsong type accents) also helps really well too.
After that I started on dht blockers. Then started changing my clothing to more androgynous women's clothing... things that can pass as male clothing but bought from the women's or unisex sections (jeggings, light trainers, women's hoodies and t-shirts, etc.).
Then started a low dose of estrogen in March.
